Super great Chinese website Experience! Reminds me of the spots in binondo but this one is in Makati! The noodle soups were all great I tasted all of them! Although medyo oily lang and food but it’s already expected.

Who would have thought a gem is hidden in the near the busy streets of Makati Avenue? If not for website, we would never have known about the existence of this place.Ambience – 3/5Don’t expect much. Like most authentic Chinese restaurants, its ambience is “homey”.Service – 4/5Hot and Sour Soup (PhP 220.00) – 4/5Just your common Maki Soup, hot, sour, and flavorful.Sweet n Sour Pork (PhP 200.00) – 5/5My favorite Chinese dish since I was little. Their Sweet n Sour Pork was on point, breading is not thick, and you can taste a good balance of the sweetness and sourness of the dish. I enjoyed it so much that I was not able to take note if there was fat in it. Although in my opinion, the dish would improve if they’ll add some more bell peppers, onions, and carrots.Assorted Pork n Beef Intestines in Casserole (PhP 395.00) – 5/5A very interesting and exotic dish! Full of flavor, it has a generous serving of pork and beef intestines, mixed with blood tofu, chili oils, and lots and lot of dried chilis.Stewed Goat's Meat in Casserole (PhP 450.00) – 5/5One of the best goat dishes that I ever tried. The stew was soft and flavorful without the smell and the aftertaste that is commonly associated with goat dishes. Just be careful of not swallowing the small bones.Pork and Kuchay Dumpling (PhP 180.00) – 4/5 One of the best dumplings that I’ve ever tasted. It’s even better than the variant of a popular restaurant in Binondo.Other food that we tried:Mapo Tofu (PhP 180.00) – 4/5Yang Zhou Fried Rice (PhP 180.00) – 3.5/5Spicy Fried Chicken Cutlet (PhP 195.00) – 4/5Fried Green Beans w/ Ground Pork (PhP 180.00) – 3/5

💕Date for Two: Pork with Kutchay Dumplings – P180, Home Style Beef Noodle Soup – P160, Spicy Dan Dan Noodles – P60💌Total: P400Overall: With the vast choices of hip restos in Poblacion, we still go back to the classic ones like LSQ Chinese Home Cuisine. It’s a small hole-in-the-wall restaurant beside the Great Western Hotel, a bit difficult to locate but trust us, it’s worth it. The dumplings are our fave ever since. Spicy Dan Dan Noodles are really, reallyy spicy. Even you have a high tolerance for spicy foods, it might not work for you. Best to ask to lessen the chili or, once served, just take out all the chilis you can spot. Beef Noodle is also good but next time, we might try the spicy version for additional flavor. The place is like an old house converted to a resto so please lower your expectations. And oh, they serve amazing XLBs too! 😉Value for money: Definitely worth it!Follow @datefortwo on Instagram for more date adventures!

This is the 2nd and last time i will eat here. Masarap siya nung unang punta ko. pero ano nangyare? Nung nakita namin yung mga ipis hindi man lang sila nag sorry. No refund. Kinausap namin na kung pwede cancel na lang yung pagpalit kasi nawalan na kami ng gana kumain pero ayaw nila. So, nag end up na binayaran namin lahat.

An underrated Chinese restaurant that is hidden in a small street at Makati. It doesn't have any luxury interiors, instead, they have this very simple and humble restaurant with red tables and red lanterns as a design. They don't have this instagramable features like fancy plates and cute utensils just to tell it to you so you won't expect anything. All I can say is give them a try and wait until you taste the food. They offer affordable Chinese dishes, mostly spicy Chinese dishes to be exact. So if you are a fan of spicy foods, go check them out.My favorite was the Sweet and sour pork. They manage to do the perfect balance between sweet and sour, together with a juicy pork.Second is the Stewed goat meat in casserole tho I felt that I've been betrayed because I thought it was a beef for real!Overall, I liked the menu and I was satisfied with my visit.Full review soon at psst.ph

Nothing says authentic better than home-cooked meals. LSQ Chinese Home Cuisine is far from home but boasts of dishes you would usually get from a regular Chinese household. Their menu was simple but every dish we tried was flavorful. My favorite was the Sweet and Sour Pork. I've tasted many variations of this dish, a lot of it turned my taste buds off, but this was a delight to eat.Another stand out was the Spicy Fried Chicken Cutlet. It was crispy and everything fried chicken should be.I also enjoyed the Assorted Pork and Beef Intestines, Fried Green Beans with Ground Pork, and the Pork and Kuchay Dumplings (though it tastes quite plain without the dip.)Everything works well with rice so make sure to get their Yang Zhou fried rice.

LSQ isn't like those common Chinese restaurants that we all know. They're different since they focus more on Northern Chinese and Szechuan Cuisines that will surely give you a hot surprise. The place may not gain as much customers as they would like to, since their restaurant isn't really located at an easy accessible area, most especially for those who own cars and plan to dine here. However, no matter how hard the struggle it is to go here, their home made meals with cheap prices will definitely make your visits worth! Once you enter, you would have this feeling that the restaurant had been here for years. The place looked old and simple but at the same time, comfortable. The high ceiling, Chinese lanterns, and traditional interiors gave it a homey atmospheric look.I was impressed with their menu because there were a lot of options to choose from. It had interesting and strange choices like the "Assorted Pork and Beef Intestines in Casserole" or more familiar and common choices like the "Sweet and Sour Pork". It was also helpful of them to have a menu containing the pictures of the dishes, making it easier for everyone to choose. Here were the dishes during our late lunch at LSQ ☺️: ➿Hot and Sour Soup➿ (220 php) Well, the name speaks itself. The flavors of hot and sour were lovely, together with the egg, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots that went along with it.➿ Spicy Fried Chicken Cutlet ➿ (195 php) This dish was really tasty. The Chicken had a good crunch to it and the dried chili's gave it the most wonderful flavor. My only concern would be the consistency of the cut on the chicken. I had 3 pieces, but the 2 pieces I had were just breaded, deep fried chicken bones.➿ Assorted Pork and Beef Intestine in Casserole ➿ (395 php) This was the hottest dish that I have ever encountered at LSQ. The stew was flavorful and extremely spicy. It was an unfamiliar dish that I enjoyed especially because of the different textures from the assorted intestines, tofu and blood cubes.➿ Stewed Goat's Meat in Casserole ➿ (450 php) The stew that we all thought was beef, was surprisingly goat. The meat was irresistibly tender but just watch out for the small bones that you might encounter!➿ Sweet and Sour Pork ➿ (200 php) This common Chinese dish will never fail to disappoint me. The combination of the sweet and sour flavors will always be my favorite and will always make me come back for more.➿ Fried Green Beans with Ground Pork ➿ (180 php) The beans itself were too dry for me and it didn't really have a good crunch that I was looking for.➿ Mapo Tofu ➿ (180 php) I love Tofu, and this dish made me love it even more. The tofu and ground pork coated lightly in the subtle spicy sauce was really addicting! Definitely ordering this again when I come back.➿ Yang Zhou Fried Rice ➿ (180 php) The rice was good and had it had the right texture that I always look for in fried rice. The flavor was good but nothing extraordinary. For all the dishes that we had that day, I would still prefer plain rice more to balance the different flavors from the other dishes.➿ Pork and Kuchay Dumpling ➿ (180 php) I love the flavor of the pork and kuchay filling, however I find the wrapper too thick. The dumpling itself was also a bit dry for my liking but overall it was an "okay" dumpling. LSQ surely impressed me with their unexpected Northern Chinese and Szechuan Cuisines. I would love to recommend this place to my family and friends and I hope to come back soon to try the rest of their menu.

No frills no gimmicks place. Just good tasty food to fill you up. The price is not bad. I would have given this a 5 had the Spicy Chicken Cutlet been less boney.
