One of the best bars ive been to in the Metro, it has a homey feel to it where you can just relax and not be too formal. The one thing that separates this from other places are the bartenders. They're the type that makes your drinks, talks to you, gives you directions, suggests good food and a lot more. And not to mention that most of them won awards in different competition in and out of the country.Must try is their happy hourAnd the Long Bar Burger

I only went there for a drink but I found it was an interesting place. Of course you get a wide range of drink and a perfect, which is to be expected in a 5 stars hotel. They show silent comedy movies, which gives an original touch. Customers thraw peanuts shells to the floor Another original touch I'm told although not really to my taste. Pricey for sure but this is also to be expected isn't it?

It's that time of the year again where people around the world celebrate Oktoberfest and Long Bar has an amazing offer for everyone.  One of the famous bars in the world was the Long Bar in Raffles Hotel, Singapore. Raffles Hotel in Manila has the same Long Bar which also includes their tradition of throwing peanut shells on the floor. The ambiance of the place is very cozy and classy. They play silent movies at the bar, those of Charlie Chaplin's. They also have a band playing late in the evening.

Enjoy free-flowing beer, unlimited house pour liquors, and endless cocktails at Long Bar for only Php 695 per person this October! The Bavarian-inspired Happy Hour features Paulaner's Oktoberfest Bier, which is brewed especially for the season. . But it doesn't stop there. Long Bar is also offering the dark Paulaner Dunkel, their premium lager Münchner Hell as well as some local and imported brands as part of the celebration.

Finally I got to visit the Long Bar at the Raffles hotel, Makati.  It had a lot to live up to the original in Singapore!  I loved the interior and the art work inside, and it still maintained that British colonial decor.  It was like I was in someones patio because of the style of tables and chairs.  We were seated immediately, and our host was very courteous.  We ordered two Boulevardiers and some fries and croquettes to snack on. Our drinks did take some time to make, and the host asked if we had been served.  Our drinks eventually came and so did our food.  i ABSOLUTELY LOVED the fries!  They were soft inside and were served piping hot with some spicy mayo on the side.  Croquettes were good too.  We stayed for a few hours but then decided to go.  It was getting quite loud with expats, and they had a live band that were playing.  Great if you enjoy that type of thing, but I just wanted somewhere quiet to talk and have a drink.  I came here on a Thursday night.  So I think I may try the afternoon sometime when it is less busy.

On the night we first went, the Long Bar at the Fairmont Raffles Hotel turned into a live rock music venue. We chanced upon two bands - one doing soul and pop rock, while the other did 80's pop and classic rock. Even if the bands had a small space to perform, they rocked the place. There is no entrance charge to watch them play, which they do well into the wee hours of the morning. The bar's decor references the Singapore Raffles hotel bar, with touches of "jungle" colonial and dark wooden louver windows. Interesting wall art, including pop portraits of Manny Pacquiao, add to its energetic vibe, while comfortable chairs and tufted sofas lend coziness and sophistication. One will pay hotel prices for signature cocktails and whisky, tequila, and cognac pours from their well-stocked bar. I enjoyed sipping a guava cosmo and a Pineda mojito. If mixed cocktails are something of a dying art, the Long Bar is doing a great job of keeping them alive - and then some. The bar chow selection after dinner hours is limited and at premium prices, so choose well.

We had our office Christmas party here yesterday. Since it's my first time in a Raffles property, I was welcomed into the tradition of throwing peanut shells on the floor (which I found a bit weird). For drinks, I had the Berry Margarita which I found too sweet for a cocktail drink that I wasn't even able to finish it. Later, I tried the Singapore Sling which was refreshingly good. It's a must-try!We had pica-pica buffet. While limited, most were excellently delish & high quality. It was unfortunate that I ate too much peanuts (because they joked that there was no food) that I was so full to try all the pica-pica foods. Standouts were the seafood pasta which were generous with seafood toppings & sauce but not overwhelming, the spring rolls, feta cheese. For dessert, the eclairs & the fruit tarts were good. You can really taste the high-quality white chocolate on the eclair & fruit tarts were soft. We all exclaimed how "masarap" they were.Taste - 4.5Value for Money - 3.5 Service - 4.5Ambience - 4.5

I frequent the long bar for their burger. One of the best. Quality meat and you can have it done any way you like. You can even request for extra toppings at no extra charge (burger is expensive, hotel prices).

Well, i didnt try any of the drinks they're offering as it was still 2pm when i was there and tea time was more appropriate which i had at writer's bar. I like the 2 types in their Long Bar cheese, which were delicious with those biscuits and marmalade. Next time i need to try that famous Singapore Sling though.

We were lured here by BDO Mastercard's promo and I have to say, it's been a great experience. As it was only lunchtime, we practically had the place entirely to ourselves. The steak was well-cooked, flavorful and very filling. Also, I took part in the Long Bar tradition of throwing my peanut shells to the floor.
