Was coaxed to chill out & have a round of drinks at this curious bar on a wednesday night and it did not disappoint. The name fits the place & the ambience. Love the big artworks lining the walls plus the big screen that showed Soul Train videos on loop. And the really cute bathroom tiles which are selfie-worthy.They had a drink all you can for certain drinks at 300php and the one I got was the Blue Balls cocktail drink which wasn't bad at all. Friends ordered the tapas platter which was good too and for a very decent price. The place has an outdoor veranda/garage feel but I noticed that there's an area for billiards & probably a videoke bar which were both in the Air-conditioned area. I like how the DJ played music that didn't compete with people trying to have a conversation. He had a pretty good set too. The place seems to have a following among expats & backpackers as the owners are European, I think. Will probably try to visit again when I want to unwind & try other stuff in the menu.

Prices are generally expensive here but the taste isn't that bad. I ordered caesar salad. It's a huge serving and good for sharing. I also had brewed coffee. It was strong but tasted the usual.I went here last weekend for an event that needed a lot of talking and understanding. And even though it's obviously a bar setup at night, I'd say this is a good place to have a real good chat over drinks. The music isn't that loud. The place is also cozy. I love couches on the side. I just hated the bathroom. The floor was wet all the time. Nobody cleaned the bathroom. This place is swarmed by foreigners.

This is a place that you go for drinks with your friends... even when the location is not favorable the Bar is worth going... the cocktails are really good and it's the place where i have tried the best caipirinhas in Manila. they have infused rum... dont leave the bar without trying some shots. I love this place...

I have been a regular here since 2013 so some might find my review biased; but then again, a place must be really special to have people that keep returning to it (and there are plenty of us regulars who do). They have French comfort food that are very reasonably priced, especially if you compare to nearby French restaurants. Give their Gambas, Mussels, Escargot, French Onion Soup, Tapas, Seafood Casserole, Beef Strips with Pepper Sauce, Sole Fish, Chocolate Mousse and Creme Brûlée a try. It's a wonderful place to have drinks and lengthy conversations with friends - one must experience their infused rum shots at least once (the ginger or pineapple would be the best choice for first timers). This is also the place to go to if you're craving very French liquors like Pastis. The music is always good, (you will not be hearing EDM and the like here) whether it's their Friday night acoustic rock bands or Saturday night DJs.The staff are exceedingly friendly and will take care of you.  No entrance fees, no dress codes. Come as you are, be friendly and you'll have a great time.

Le Cafe Curieux is the place to visit on Friday evening for a range of Belgian Beers and great party vib with live band. We had an appetizer platter of bread with pate, Tapenade and other spreads.Wide choice of beers - each with its own branded glass! Great service despite the crowd
