A family favorite. Can't go wrong with this resto. Pasta, pizza very good. Service is personal but can be a bit slow at times. One of those neighborhood restos you tend to forget about what with the advent of good restos in malls and areas like BGC, but definitely it never disappoints.

Quaint, ole school Italian style cafe with an extensive and expensive menu. I think you are paying for the location, but it is Dasmarinas Village and Saturday. We had an appointment and with it being impossible to get a parking spot due to the arrogant "would be, if they could be's" driving like they knew how or their disrespectful drivers making it impossible to find parking, we figured why not eat. The food was fresh and well prepared and proportioned. The servers where like robots and didn't even speak. The clientele was a bit pretentious as the driving in the parking lot. The pizza was great as well as the Caprese salad. Nothing to really get excited about and not the best Italian restaurant in Makati, but very good. As long as you do not need to park.

Tucked away in San Antonio Plaza is a tiny Italian Restaurant that is very easily missed. With only 15 tables inside, La Nuova is a no frills, neighborhood restaurant that serves consistently good food. Though their prices may be a bit higher than what we usually spend for Italian food, the quality of the food, the ambiance as well as the service is definitely worth the price. The Risotto Colorato is simply described on the menu as “Italian Rice with Mixed Vegetables,” but let me be the one to tell you that it is so much more. It is a wonderful blend of fresh vegetables like broccoli, mushrooms, asparagus, carrots and even zucchini, and with each vegetable complementing the other, it is difficult not to enjoy this dish. All the vegetables taste very fresh and each flavor is brought out during the 15 minute cooking process without managing to lose the bite. Some of the vegetables manage to stay nice and crunchy while the others find their way into the rice and blend in quite perfectly.Their best seller, and my personal favorite, is the Tartufo Pasta. The menu describes it as “Tagliatelle Pasta with White Truffle Cream, Porcini Mushroom topped with Parma Ham.” Since they only cook the dishes once it has been ordered, should you prefer to change the pasta noodles or make any alterations to your order, they will be more than glad to oblige. (A+ for their service) However, I do recommend going with it the way the Chef makes it because it is perfection. Once it is brought to your table, the smell of the truffle cream alone will have you salivating and make you regret not ordering 2 of this for yourself. The pasta is cooked al dente and coated perfectly with truffle cream.Pastelleria La Nuova is, without a doubt, one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to in Manila! It is one that I would frequent over and over again even if it is just for the Tartufo Pasta.

This is a very cozy place for you to have dinner. The restaurant offer different Italian dishes for you to indulge. The place is a bit small and food is a bit pricey.I think what I had was Aglio Olio con Gamberi which is good and it can actually serve two and also tried their cakes. I will definitely be back again so that I can try some of their dishes.

If you grew up hearing a lot about this place from family and friends you will remember that it has one of the best pasta vongole and calamare fritti dishes, from the last visit it still have the old charm of a italian cafe/resto. Although you will also feel that snobbish ambiance so some might be intimidated. Still Love the popular dishes here and pastries like the concord cake. This is nota place for someone looking for big serving pasta.. but if you are in the mood or trying authentic this is one of the places you should try. PS.. they are serving that on the house pate which is reallt good

After our dinner in Va Bene (across Pasay Road) last last Friday, we had brunch in another Italian Resto the day after. It was surprising to know that there's a mini resto in San Antonio Plaza, an authentic Italian place, its La Nuova Pasteleria. Its a small place with about 15 tables inside. At the counter, it has wide range of Italian cold cuts and cheeses, cakes as well too. Having been inside, you can forget you are in Metro Manila. We had:Prociutto farcito, stuffed with spinach & gorgonzola, shrimp & bell pepperAglio Olio misto de pesce- mixed seafood, garlic, white wine and spaghetti noodlesTartufo, white truffle cream, proscini mushroom and prociuttoConcorde cake, definitely a must try dessert! Creamy and scrumptious layers of chocolate mousse with crunchy meringue sticks. Verdict: prices are a bit higher than other Italian resto, but the quality of food, ambiance, as well as the service is worth the price. Servings are quite big, good for sharing. But once you tasted the dish, I can't tell if you would still want to share 😜

In the posh district of Makati City sits San Antonio Plaza where you will find an Italian restaurant called La Nuova Pasteleria. The area size of the place may be quite limited but the quality of the food is supreme. It has an open kitchen typical of authentic Italian restaurants. You can actually witness your order being prepared from scratch.I was able to try several of La Nuova’s offerings and I would say it is very suitable to the upscale market that they perceivably cater to. My topmost favourite is the Tartufo. It is a filling pasta dish with a characteristic rich tasting velvety sauce. So much so because it is comprised of White Truffle Cream with Porcini Mushroom and topped with Parma Ham over Tagliatele Pasta. I've heard it said that it's one of the best truffle pasta recipes you'll find in the metro and I will have to absolutely agree with that.I also tried a meat selection called Filleto di Manzo al Fungho Porcini (Grilled Beef Tenderloin in Porcini Mushroom Sauce). The beef was perfectly grilled leaving it quite tender, juicy and tasty. It has an accompanying sauce and a share of garnish which rightfully complement the beef and completes an experience. Another pasta dish I tried was the Ravioli Fungi or Pasta stuffed with Mushroom, Ricotta Cheese and Shrimps. I must say a dish that’s lovingly prepared to satisfy your tummy and put a smile of contentment to your face.La Nuova Pasteleria has been around since 1974 yet still packs in the crowd during peak periods. Try to make a reservation prior to your visit or come in early on to be assured of a table. Pricing however is also quite premium. An average order would range about P600 per dish. But the food is guaranteed to be truly worth your spend.

Food is good and worth the wait and price, but I had this experience with your waiter yesterday, I was browsing through the menu and asked him what the name of this pizza (Pizza Due Gusti) in this photo, without speaking, your employee pointed to Pizza Due Gusti in the menu very hard, then I asked him what is you best seller, again, without speaking, pointed again hard, so I ordered the Pizza, and then without hesitation he took the menu and left.  I immediately called the attention of this waiter asked him i have not yet finished ordering yet so why is he taking the menu??. Without speaking again he handed us the menu and took our order. (Take note i ordered politely and fast since I know that the restaurant was a bit full , all this was done in less than a minute.) I find this action of your employee very rude and disappointing. Please do something about this, bad for business, even though your food is good, the eating experience is wrecked by bad service by this particular staff of yours.

Favorite place to eat since I was a baby. Be prepared to bump into a lot of people if you are from the area. Great food but steep prices :) order the truffle mushroom and spinach, the pesto alla nuova and the tartufo of course!

Overpriced food but tastes good anyway. The pasta has a generous amount of clams which I really loved. The cake was delicious. First time to eat here and I can say that I would recommend this place.
