I have always been dining here and recommending this resto to friends and family it is just now that i am submitting a review ... I really love kuretake because you get your money's worth some jap restos with the same price as this resto but the serving in this resto is more and quality is present in every service 😊👍

One of my go to Japanese restaurants. Their nigiri sushi are some of the best in terms of quality and price. The salmon, ikura, and hamachi sushi are always fresh and the sushi rice is perfect. Love their gindara teriyaki too! Never fails to hit the right spot and satisfy my craving.

Loved how fresh the sashimi was! We ordered the sakae sashimi set and we were just happy with it. It came with 3 types of white fish - I can only identify the hamachi, tuna, salmon, ika and uni.Their Sukiyaki Ju is very good. I loved how tasty it was and the ratio of meat to rice is just right. Next time I will try the Sukiyaki and their hot sobas. The cold soba was normal. The couple in the other table was complaining though because their main dish arrived before the sushi they ordered. Same thing happened to us but the food was good that we didn't make a fuss about it anymore. It was obvious though that the servers can do with more training. So all in all, yes I will come back and I do recommend this place to friends and family to try. I just hope by then the service would have improved.

When my family and I are craving for simple, clean and light meals, we usually head over to Kuretake. We regularly eat there for several years now and I can say that the quality of the food they serve has remained good. You can't go wrong with anything that Kuretake offers on their menu. From sushi and sashimi, to Shabu-Shabu, to donburi and bento boxes, to grilled dishes and noodle soups, everything is well-cooked and freshly prepared. The food, although tasty, is not the typical heavy and "malasa" that Filipino palettes love; but rather you'd eat a light savory taste that you'd normally taste in restaurants in Japan. The servers were attentive and pleasing and the place itself feels like an authentic Japanese restaurant. I'm glad that they got to renovate a few years back because now the place is now more warm and comforting. A very minor comment would only be that when the restaurant is full, it's feels cramped especially the area near the sushi bar and kitchen entrance. But, hey, if the restaurant you are eating at is full of people, you'd be sure that it's worth to be there!

Another awesome place to go in Rockwell is Kuretake when your in the mood for some Japanese food in particular sushi! :)This time i decided to have a light snack with by having some Makimono and Menrui Noodles. Therefore, I had Spicy Salmon and as this was so good I ended up having 2 servings of 6 small rolls. :) For the menrui, I had the very large serving for one Niku Soba - consisting of beef thin slices in a Japanese noodle soup. Great combo and a must try!

Rockwell has been a go to place for an exciting and good food experience. One of the restaurants I love here is Kuretake. They have a nice, spacious and minimalist interior design. Expect the creamy white chairs against a red backdrop, creatively designed with light bamboos. It gives the place a modern and Japanese inspired look.

Very bad service. As in. Food not too masarap. Waiting time para lang pansinin kami ng waiter was like 15 mins. They were all cooped up in one place. Swear talaga, dapat vinideohan ko yung pag taas namin ng kamay ng matagal at hindi nila pag pansin sa mga customer nila jusko. Ordered and the food took more than 30 minutes to come. The drinks didn't even come first, we had to wait so long. Nauna pa yung order ng ibang table. And with the orders, we ordered so many na thinking okay na lahat tapos they told us biglang wala nang Tamago, karaage, Mango shake, iced tea etc. They should've told us from the start. Sobrang hassle. Sunog pa fish cake ko kaiyak. Intense bad experience for me and my family.

Really unpleasant experience. Wait staff did their best to keep us waiting. I was actually told that their system requires me to go find then if I want to order. Prices were reasonable. Chirashi was good. Fish was fresh. Uni was lovely. Kuretake fried rice we very oily. Shrimp tempura had lots of uncooked batter. Amazing how bad wait staff can ruin the whole experience.

I tried this restaurant on a busy sunday night. Good japanese food in powerplant mall. Service is also fast. Enjoyable eating experience. Fresh sushi and sashimi. Miso soup was also good except that it had clam in it which i found strange.

I love Japanese food and Kuretake restaurant I can say one of the Top 5 best Japanese resto in Manila. Authentic Japanese food, spacious and minimalist atmosphere. To thumbs up! The only issue in the resto is the service, too many staff just chatting in one corner. Raised my hand twice too many server acknowledged but nobody came to my table. Maybe they hire few efficient staffs.
