To finish the day and another kilo added is of course some Krispy Kreme. This Rockwell outlet recently opened so it's just starting to be known in the area, has a nice setup and already most times all tables are full. This time had to try the Vanilla Cake and the new awesome Kreme Brûlée. If your the type that likes creme within your doughnuts then the Kreme Brûlée is for you. You get a good serving of vanilla creme once you start to get into the doughnut. Always awesome to visit a sweet tooth popular place.

Krispy Kreme is an American  global doughnut company and coffeehouse chain based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.I gotta be honest,  i am not a fan of Krispy Kreme.  I tried one variant and i almost went into sugar shock.  The sugar proportions is way off the scale.  Yes,  i am referring to their Glazed Donut.  Let's remove glucose from the equation.  The light and fluffy  pastry is something that differentiates them from other brands.  Forget the other brands that claim their doughnuts has the melt-in-your-mouth texture,  figure of speech (hyperbole),  Krispy Kreme is the real deal,  numero uno, they take the crown of the Softie Awards (yes,  i made that up). Krispy Kreme has made an impact with the Filipino consumers.   The popularity of their super sweet doughnuts has captured the sweet tooth of every Juan Dela Cruz.

I love Krispy Kreme! Ever since I was a little girl, when I'd visit the USA, I'd always order boxes of Krispy Kreme's doughnuts. - Delectable doughnuts; soft, melt-in-your-mouth MAGIC.- It's for people with a sweet tooth.- They have a lot of variants to choose from!- Doughnuts are always made fresh!- They also coffer hot and cold drinks (and coffee).- I LOVE LOVE LOVE their Strawberry Kreme milkshake. Feels like you're eating in a diner in the USA.- Pricing is affordable. You get more than your money's worth with the quality of their food and drinks!- The branch in Rockwell is very tiny though but it's always clean and quiet (it has around 4 tables only). Very relaxing and not crowded unlike all other branches.

Krispy Kreme is always a great place to get good donuts. We always get the glazed donuts paired with an americano, the contrast of the sweet and bitter coffee is a nice complement and is perfect for an afternoon snack.

Of course Sundays will not be complete without a take home box of a dozen original glazed from Krispy Kreme.It is sweet. It is bready. It is the favorite of 3rd son. Naturally since it was already there anyway, I can not resist a bite or two of this saccharine treat huhu
