My colleagues decided to have lunch at Kite. It was hot in the afternoon but good thing they have good ventilation. Place is funky and artsy. I like the interior. The FoodSkewers Wagyu Kebab: the kebab tasted premium, the meat is moist, succulent. Your typical good meat of wagyu. The dipping sauce is da bomb.Spicy Tenderloin Salpicao: the beef is soft not chewy. Its tender, melts in your mouth. I love the (sarsa) sauce in it, partnered with toasted garlic slices on top.Steamed Rice with Butter: rice is cooked to perfection, the butter adds a special fling on the carbs.Basmati Rice with Butter: I love this type of rice, its light, airy and fluffy. The butter is the perfect topping. I love it with the spicy tenderloin salpicao. We ate there lunch time, there are few people dining, they said that the traffic is night time. The staff, the only server and a girl. Is attentinve, nice and helpful. I like the food and the experience. I enjoyed it.#kitekebabph #website #awesomefood #food #mediterranean

For quite sometime now, Poblacion has gained popularity as the hip place to be in Makati. Poblacion, once embedded in the city’s controversial Red Light District, is now a bustling food hub filled with ultracool bars, drinking joints, and hole-in-the-wall restaurants. Date-worthy spot at Kite Kebab Bar

Kite Kebab is a Mediterranean Restaurant located in Poblacion, Makati.  They offer street food. Skewers, falafel, hummus, shawarma, salads, shisha, ice cold beers, wine & single malts and more.  This place has a chill ambiance here in Poblacion.  I am digging the ambiance of the place as it uses recycled materials.

Long before Poblacion happened, Kite Kebab Bar has been on scene since 2015 with Chef Kian Kazemi churning out Persian hits. This May 2019, Kite Kebab Makati relocated to a much larger space with two floors and better furnishings along Durban Street right next to LOBO Filipino Tavern, which is also run by Chef Kian Kazemi. KKB can be recognized for being both a family-friendly and a chill inuman place in the heart of Poblacion. [Read More]

Been craving for Kebab since last December. Alas, I was able to satisfy it tonight. Me and my colleague finally get to try Kite Kebab which is just a walking distance from the office. It is quite hard to find if you are not familiar with the Streets of Poblacion. There are many Hidden Gems along this road and plenty of cuisines to choose from. This restaurant does not have a huge signage. Your only landmark is the tree in front with lamps hanging on it. The ambience is cozy with dim lights. A kind of place where you want to have a drink and just chill. Price range is affordable than other Kebab restaurants. We ordered:Classic Kebab (around 130php) - one Beef Skewer; this is without rice but comes with a garlic and hot sauce. Also, with a grilled tomato.Classic Chicken kebab- same with beef; no rice but with 2 sauces and a grilled tomato. We tried to order the Ox brain as our side dish. Unfortunately, it was sold out so we just ordered Calamari instead (99php). The vinegar was spicy, I prefer to dip it in the garlic sauce.Rice with Butter costs 40php; just a plain white rice that has a butter on top. This has a big serving, probably 1 and a half rice, which is not bad at all. (Some restos just give you a 1 cup of rice for the same price)Overall verdict, I can say that it definitely satisfied my cravings. They are delicious and are authentic Persian Kebabs. Will definitely recommend their place and we will still come back to try out other things on their menu. Hopefully, we will be able to try the Ox Brain next time.

I invited my friend for dinner because I'm pretty bored in my place. We went around poblacion because he also wants to drink. He suggested Kite since he's craving for Persian food. I ordered Chipotle chicken and he ordered Shawarma. The Chipotle Chicken is good but nothing spectacular, my friend said that the shawarma is pretty good. He said that it's his go to restaurant/bar there in poblacion. I'm still pretty curious with their other food. I'll definitely go back here soon.

Kite Kebab Bar is a unique hidden discovery along the Small and very narrow side street of Ebro in Poblacion Makati. It shares the street with other well known dining haunts but the group had Kite Kebab Bar on its radar during the early evening as part of a Food Crawl. Upfront, you can see Lounge chairs if you prefer al fresco dining but they also have a small inside seating good for probably 30people. Suprisingly, the air conditioning was cool enough even if the place was packed. I love the upcycled chairs, tables and the marble counter top. The owner was on point when it comes to reusing old wood and marble to make it used useful again. We tried the following items that night and boy, what a spread it was.Cucumber w/ Yogurt Shake - refreshingly heavy drink, the yogurt gives the drink a sweet sour taste that goes well with the food.Coco Shooter - The coco Shooter was suprisingly Light with the liquior kick at the end.Ox Tongue - smooth and tasty spread, must Eat with the pita Bread.Duo "Chicken & Beef" Shawarma Rice - soft, flavorful smoky meat with a side of perfectly cooked Rice.Squid - grilled to perfection, i try to avoid Squid because the large Ones tends to be gummy, but their is soft and easy to bite.Classic Kebab - perfectly Spiced meat Kebabs.Vegetarian Samosa - soft vegetables wrapped in wrap Deep-fried Fried to a crisp. A Light and at times sinful appetizer because it is Deep-fried. Make sure to share to lessen the guilt.Falafel Salad - Fried falafel on top of a green Salad, if you want something Light to start your meal this is a Great choice.Mediterranean Barbeque - another perfect pita pairing along with the Keema.Spicy Chicken - Chicken thigh Fillet Marinated in Spiced, grilled to perfection. I appreciate how juicy and flavorful the Chicken was. The spiciness was just right and not too hot.Baba Ganoush - Eggplant and yogurt blended smooth.Sardines & Feta in Olive Oil - tried mixing Together the soft sardines and feat cheese and stuffed it in my pita Bread and it was Great. This was a first for me trying and seeing this dish in a restaurant.Classic Chicken Kebab - perfectly grilled Chicken chunks, try it with the variety of sauces available on the side.Chicken Biryani - if you want a quick, delicious, filling lunch meal. This is a good choice.Mediterranean Fries - crisp, delicious Fries, made even better with the assortment of Spices and cheese sauce generously topped.Over all, it was a Great dining experience. Seek them out when your in the area. You can buy a couple of shawarmas after a night of partying in the area before heading home or try one of their delicious cocktails as a Pre Game night drink. This quaint restaurant tucked in Makati is a good hangout place if you want to avoid big crowd. The interior is a bit dark but it has a rustic and homey feel to it.We ordered Beef Biryani, Beef Kebab, and Salmon Fillet. The biryani was cooked well and had that distinct smokey flavor found in Mediterranean cuisine. Do note that the beef are found in the middle of the rice (in case you might wonder where it is). The beef kebab was tender and the roasted tomato added some freshness to the dish. The salmon fillet was flaky and juicy, with a hint of smokiness as well. The food is reasonably priced and the service was great. We would have given them 5 stars if not for the big cockroach that suddenly appeared on the edge of our table - we were seated by the window. The staff politely offered to replace our meal but we refused since we were already halfway done and the cockroach didn't go anywhere near our food.Note: Parking is very limited, we only managed to park in front of their restaurant because we came a few minutes earlier than their opening time on a weekday.

Very good ambiance for a chill night. The food is good and worth it for its price. They also have a variety of drinks to choose from, so you don’t have to transfer to a bar once you had dinner. One downside is that the place is quite small and it gets packed easily, especially on fridays. Must try: Mediterranean Keema Fries, Hummus & Feta

Place it’s very small, not family friendly. The first thing you notice when you enter it’s a strong and not a pleasant (at all) smell. We almost left but we were craving Persian food so we decided to stay despite the smell. Prices are in accordance with the portions. My daughter found a hair on her sauce and while pouring herself a second serving of water, a living fly on her glass. Staff was very accommodating and very polite. Waitress delivered our food quickly and with a smile. Not sure if we’ll ever go back there, not anytime soon, though.
