Our group decided to walk nearby for lunch after a meeting and ended up having Japanese. It wasn't long ago when I dropped by another Kitaro branch.  No qualms with this decision as this cuisine represents one of my favorites. Kitaro serves classic Japanese favorites and is know for their Sushi and Sashimi party trays. The downside here though is their lack of vegetable choices. I ended up being limited to Toge or Beansprouts as my healthy pick. I am glad though they agreed to make my Salmon Teriyaki more interesting by placing two eggs with my rice. I enjoyed having that. Their tempura on the other hand was drenched with oil. I knew this because my lips were slippery after. I say never mind the taste if this is how it will be presented.

My officemates ordered this and its my first time to try Kitaro! I don't know what this is called but I'll call those "Sushi Bilao".I only tried the Tamago sushi, Kani sushi, Salmon sushi and Tempura-- and all of them are oh so gooood!!! Too bad I haven't tried the sashimi and California maki.

Kitaro is when you want to eat the classic japanese favorites for a cheap price. This is a quick fix for any cravings you have for the japanese cuisine. They are known for their party trays of Sushi and Sashimi which is very convinient for a big family like mine. The usual things I order are gyoza, tamago and california maki. The servings are 8 pcs for both tamago and california maki, while the gyoza is 6pcs. Pretty good for the quality and price. Serving time is about 15mins which is normal. Staff is very kind and I eat here so often that I got a loyatly card which entitles me to a 10% discount on my whole bill. haha! The only thing I wish they fix up is the whole look of their resto. It looks so outdated. A little modern look will make people want to eat there more.
