I’ve tried this place before but was disappointed with the ramen I ordered (and my sister didn’t like their tan tan men ramen as well), which is why I ruled this out of my go-to places whenever I’m craving for ramen. After my first visit, I swore to never return to this restaurant again. But then, my curiosity changed that. This restaurant has always been part of the top 10 ramen list, and also has a high rating, so I can’t help but think that I had the wrong impression about it. I tried this restaurant again for lunch with my friends, and this time, I ordered their best selling ramen.

Of all the ramen places I've been to, this one's remarkable. The place is ideal for people who love to dine and chill at the same time. Ambiance is extremely important for ramen houses and I am sure this one has it.The location doesn't give it justice though. It's not a popularly busy area but it's worth the try.We decided to go here to have ramen for dinner since we're kind of into ramen. They offer different types of ramen, ranging from salt-based to spicy. We ordered Black Garlic Paitan Ramen and Hokkaido Spicy Miso Ramen. The Black Garlic Paitan Ramen is their best-seller. This one is a stand-out from all the other basic ramen I already tried. Like any other ramen, ingredients are carefully side-stacked with each other in such a creative manner.Hokkaido Spicy Miso Ramen is better for me cause I'm really into spicy food.I observed that their ramen, in general, are strongly flavored. I don't fancy too much flavor in ramen since I love slurping the soup. I want it not to be too salty. This has a tendency to get too strong. Though, this will work fine for people who love flavorful food.Price-wise, I can say that it is just right-what I'm willing to shell out for the kind of food and service.

I tried their Hokkaido Spicy Miso Ramen and gyoza, the taste is okay just okay. the broth is too thick which is not good, I wasn't able to finish because of that. please don't use phillippine cabbage, it taste bad at the ramen.Place - GoodService - GoodThe Price? - could be reasonable If the broth is not too thick.

Was lucky to try this Japanese ramen shop before they close for good on May 31.I had the Black Garlic Paitan Ramen for lunch. After a few sip of the rich broth, I thought I'd be in a gastronomical treat. I was not wrong. The peppery and garlic flavor made it more memorable. The thickness of the broth was explicit. The firm ramen gave it a much needed crunch. The grilled chashu was tender and flavorful. I would also commend the bamboo shoots added. It was so soft and felt like eating a mushroom. So good!Every ramen lover out there should give Kichitora a try. It's on my top 3 ramen shops in Manila.

This is my ramen go to place when I am away from Alabang. I always order shoyu and so should you haha! Their gyoza is also my favorite. Their tanmen and paitan are good too. Spiciness can be adjusted if you request it. Rainy days are back so a return is due anytime soon. Their ramen is considered a comfort food. Their servers are attentive and accommodating.

On June 21, 2017 First time to try this ramen house at their Glorietta branch. I ordered Black Garlic Paitan, but when I got that Ramen, I found a BIG WORM on it.I suppose, you can imagine my disappointment and how traumatic it was. What happened is indeed a bad experience. I will never eat there again.

AmbienceIt was downright peaceful and quiet because I was the only customer at the time. It turns out they usually close the bigger part of the restaurant sometime in the afternoon. Too bad, though, because I was intending to sit near the window to keep my eyes busy after looking at the menu.Kichitora Paitan RamenHands down, this was pretty good ramen! The soup was very thick and tasty though I'm not quite sure if the egg did this. The egg was already served cut in half and I was really happy it was included. For the meat, you have 2 options: chicken or pork. The pork was amazing! It was tender and tasty with a grilled flavor! My favorite part was the noodles because they had a perfectly hard texture. I was very full up to the last sip!ServiceJudy was kind and asked if I was enjoying my food. She then gave me an idea on how they prepare their ramen, which I found pretty impressive. It made me want to come back and try other ramen too!Service ChargeExcluded. I cry.

We ate here with my sisters, the ambiance of the place is luxurious, its neat, clean and simple. We ordered the Paitan and Shoyu, the broth is good comforting and savory. We also had the chicken karaage, make sure to squeeze some lemon as it brings the flavor out. The must try spicy chicken karaage was sold out. The additional mixed veggies is quite good. The only minus point for me was the service, its slow and staff seems to be frazzled for some reason. Not attentive at all, very clumsy.Overall this is a great ramen place to try. 😊

I had the Chintan Ramen. It was simple; clear broth in salt flavour (Shoyu if you prefer), your usual egg, a piece of pork, a crispy sheet of nori, sprinkled with sliced leeks, and it was all I could ever want. With all the hype and excessive flavour with most Ramen joints these days, the Chintan was a wonderful departure from the norm, and has reminded me of the simplicity, heartiness and contentment a warm bowl of ramen can bring.Side Notes:I often visit this place. Paitan (speciality bowl) is nothing extraordinary, but you won't be disappointed unless you expect gold. (I'd give it a 3.5)Interiors are wonderfully done. Kudos!Staff are well trained, accommodating, and kind.Service was fast, with reasonable wait time.
