I’ve tried this place before but was disappointed with the ramen I ordered (and my sister didn’t like their tan tan men ramen as well), which is why I ruled this out of my go-to places whenever I’m craving for ramen. After my first visit, I swore to never return to this restaurant again. But then, my curiosity changed that. This restaurant has always been part of the top 10 ramen list, and also has a high rating, so I can’t help but think that I had the wrong impression about it. I tried this restaurant again for lunch with my friends, and this time, I ordered their best selling ramen.

Of all the ramen places I've been to, this one's remarkable. The place is ideal for people who love to dine and chill at the same time. Ambiance is extremely important for ramen houses and I am sure this one has it.The location doesn't give it justice though. It's not a popularly busy area but it's worth the try.We decided to go here to have ramen for dinner since we're kind of into ramen. They offer different types of ramen, ranging from salt-based to spicy. We ordered Black Garlic Paitan Ramen and Hokkaido Spicy Miso Ramen. The Black Garlic Paitan Ramen is their best-seller. This one is a stand-out from all the other basic ramen I already tried. Like any other ramen, ingredients are carefully side-stacked with each other in such a creative manner.Hokkaido Spicy Miso Ramen is better for me cause I'm really into spicy food.I observed that their ramen, in general, are strongly flavored. I don't fancy too much flavor in ramen since I love slurping the soup. I want it not to be too salty. This has a tendency to get too strong. Though, this will work fine for people who love flavorful food.Price-wise, I can say that it is just right-what I'm willing to shell out for the kind of food and service.

I tried their Hokkaido Spicy Miso Ramen and gyoza, the taste is okay just okay. the broth is too thick which is not good, I wasn't able to finish because of that. please don't use phillippine cabbage, it taste bad at the ramen.Place - GoodService - GoodThe Price? - could be reasonable If the broth is not too thick.

Was lucky to try this Japanese ramen shop before they close for good on May 31.I had the Black Garlic Paitan Ramen for lunch. After a few sip of the rich broth, I thought I'd be in a gastronomical treat. I was not wrong. The peppery and garlic flavor made it more memorable. The thickness of the broth was explicit. The firm ramen gave it a much needed crunch. The grilled chashu was tender and flavorful. I would also commend the bamboo shoots added. It was so soft and felt like eating a mushroom. So good!Every ramen lover out there should give Kichitora a try. It's on my top 3 ramen shops in Manila.
