Finally, tried the Sisig Rice Bowl (P99.00).  I enjoyed every spoonful.  Nice presentation, even had hard-boiled egg on the side, has the right spicy and umami taste.  Fun shots chicken blended perfectly.  So happy with this rice bowl, I will order it again.  I got little KFC gravy to add sauce and taste to it.

Although a well know fast food chain KFC has never ceased to amaze me. I have been impressed at how they are able to reinvent themselves over and over again. I ordered the sisig and I can say that I was trully was satisified. The sisig bowl was infused with real pork bits and chicharon, the rice was I guess infused with sisig flavors. You can taste the pork even in the rice while topped with signature hotshots, this is complimented with the half boiled egg and the mayonnaise to complete the authentic sisig experience. This is by no means an authentic pinoy dish but this is a creative rendition of it.

I ordered 2pc spicy and crispy chicken meal that comes with mushroom soup and mashed potato. I'm happy because they gave me a super large take-out container filled with gravy since I'm ordering the food for take out.

As usual, masyadong matao sa branch na ito dahil nasa labas lang, tabi pa ng sakayan at babaan ng mga comuters at iilan lang din ang murang fast food na malapit.

I got to try their steak bowl (for breakfast) and I actually liked it. This was not planned mind you. Hunger caught up with me and I figured I will try KFC for once. The highlight for me was actually their white sauce and when I mixed it with their egg. That alone was worth the price for me.

What I used to do and actually did again is I would buy a kung pao rice bowl, a large hotshots and mash potatoes. Then I would put all these in one plate and mix them all together and re-heat them if needed. Then I would eat them as one. Whats good about KFC is that their foods tastes so good that mixing them would result in an even better dish.

I love their original recipe chicken. It is so flavorful and such a classic. I would usually save the skin for last and just pour a lot of gravy on it and eat it with a lot of rice and a side of their thick and yummy fries.

No one beats chicken gravy by KFC. Back in college, we used to order the regular one piece meal and binge on the gravy from the thermos. When I want to go light, I order their Chicken Salad which is basically their green salad combined with crunchy chicken strips to add flavor and texture to the meal.

What I almost always get have the last couple of weeks is the kung pao rice bowl. I do not know why but I am addicted to it. I guess it isi the combination of their chicken, sweet and spicy sauce, corn and rice that makes it my perfect dish of the moment.
