This has been around for long as I have been in the Philippines.Kaya is probably the first Korean restaurant to go mainstream. They have pretty good BBQ and other items. Its not the best, but the price is not bad for old school Korean food.I go here time to time, and service is the best here, well trained staff. This is a must go if you live in Makati!

Having been to South Korea myself and having a Korean employer, I can say that this restaurant is definitely one of the best in Metro Manila in offering authentic Korean dishes. It provides an extensive menu so there is a dish for everyone and good tasting side dishes. These are the following food we ordered:1. Kaya Salad - The choice of ingredients work well with the black sesame sauce. 2. Haemul Pajeon - It was rightly cooked and their sauce is not salty so it complements the pancake well.3. Bulgogi - This wasn't served in a bulgogi pan, but the bulgogi sauce on the sirloin strips make up for it.4. Bassak Bulgogi - It's soft, flavorful beef perfect with rice.5. Kalbi Jim - The ribs are succulent in sweet and savory sauce. What I like here is that the meat can be easily removed from the ribs.6. Jim Mandoo - It's similar to Chinese wanton dumplings but the dip that comes with it is soy sauce mixed with vinegar.7. Chulpan Ojingo - Expect this dish to be spicy. However, the tender squid makes up for it.8. Japchae - They sweet potato noodle dish has the right balance of sweetness.9. Alamang Bibimbap - They normally serve it at a normal rice bowl. Make sure to ask it to be served at a hot stone bowl although you'll just add PhP 30. By Me-An.Just reasonable food, travel and etc.

If you want a korean place that isn't as noisy and crowded, Kaya is the best choice. This restaurant is very clean and spacious. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They serve typical korean food such as bbq grilling, japchae, koean omelet etc. This place serves good quality Korean food. Parking and credit card services aren't a problem.

Throwback review: The restaurant has a very comfortable relaxing setting. It's very Spacious, quite big restaurant actually for this outlet. It's not noisy place to dine. I like the way it looks interiorly. Service is good. The side dishes are quite nice. But the soybean paste chiigae soup is very average only. The bibimbap that my Friend ordered is also average. We have tried much better Korean food in the BF homes. But if you stay in makati. It's quite worth the try , especially for big group gathering. I see they have enough space. Oh, and the BBQ , I saw 3 tables having it, meat looks quite good. Maybe I'll try the BBQ maybe it's better. *** See the pictures that I attached. It shows more than my words can describe. :)

I have not been to KAYA Jupiter for sometime so it was a good revisit. The ambiance is the same warm staff., Korean regulars with Filipino friends ( or other nationalities). The good thing is that the cuisine is authentic Korean. We had Haemul Kimchi Buchujeon ( korean leek pancake with kimchi and squid) , Osam Bulgogi ( sizzling spicy pork belly with Squid and vegetables). Plain Rice and Top it off with Soju.  A bit over P 1,000.00 was the bill.  Can't complain about the service or the quality of the food. Parking can be a struggle if you are late. What we had was good for 4 people.  Kaya is consistent on quality and service.

Ordered food for delivery from here for our Monday dinner. Kaya Salad was good with sliced fruits and veggies in a nice black sesame dressing. Dak Bulgogi - grilled chicken fillet - was good too. Marinated in a slightly spicy sauce.Kalbi Jim - beef stew - was a tad disappointing with the meat being tough to chew. The sides - like Kimchi, sayote namul and myulchi bokum (dilis) - were ok.

Food: One of my fave Korean restaurant in Makati Avenue, Kaya is one of the oldest Korean restaurant which serves authentic Korean cuisine. Staple orders include Yukhoe (they serve clean, sweet, refreshing beef that always tickle my tastebuds), Kalbi Gui A (the beef that has sweet seasoning--you can ask them to cook it in the kitchen or by yourself) and Hameul Pajeon (well this one used to be good, but not a fan anymore). I tried ordering Tukboggi (spicy rice cake) and it made me happy--soft and chewy rice cakes with right amount of spiciness. Yum. Samgyetang has mild, soothing broth that goes well with the tender chicken meat. After each meal, they will give you either sliced oranges or pineapple.Servings: The kalbi includes lettuce for wraps but I am not sure if it is included in other meat orders. Service: I commend the manager for being a hands-on one, however service is on the slow side for the rest of the staff. Location: Spacious, clean, pleasant environment with parking slots. Will I come back again? Yes. I just wished they will bring back their ginger tea.

When it comes to Korean Food! Always proceed to Kaya as my daughter would always say! Imagine we ordered this much with 4 people?! 2 orders of Kalbi Jim, sizzling spicy squid, japjae, large mackerel, and unlimited side dishes! Spent around 2,500 and that's already with Soju! 😍👍🏼 we were so lucky that the owner was there. The Manager named Oscar greeted us and over heard him saying... "they have been eating here for more that 5-7 years now when their kids were still young" he told his Lady Boss... and because they know we're regular customers they always give us a lot of fruit dessert after our meal! My kids love to eat here! They make sure that we always visit Kaya once a month for our Korean Craze! Who knows.. i might see the Goblin eating here! 😂😂😂 ambience, people, staff, food & parking! Perfect! 👍🏼❤
