Ito ang pinakapaborito naming kainan ng partner ko sa Bangkal. Authentic at affordable Japanese food.

Taste is on point especially the sushi rolls with respent to their price. Been here a couple of times with my sisters & we always see ourselves saying that we would go again. I think the ppace is okay but I wish they could have a bigger place & more tables.

Ordering omu rice, ramen, and don buri will be your best choice but not the bento meals bc the serving in it is not that good. Price is cheap but the food is fine and is cooked after you order so you’ll have to wait for not too long. The place is very accessible but they just have small tables and tents to accommodate customers especially dinner time.

Though we went there at 6:30 PM and the crowd was beginning to show up, we were able to get a table. Their bulgogi bento box which yours truly enjoyed with Mountain Dew was a standout, well-proportioned with beef strips tenderly cooked along with clear bulgogi noodles, rice and mini egg sashimi bits :-) There was also the presence of red pepper for those who want the bulgogi bento extra spicy. Another very good choice was their kani salad, fresh and generously served. It's quite amusing for the place to be called a Japanese carinderia; it looks more like those homely, neighbourhood eateries one finds in the back streets of Japan's cities. My applause for Kaito equally goes to the very friendly, helpful staff and very, very clean surroundings. Domo arigato gozaimasu, Kaito, and keep up the job well done!

the food taste nice....unfortunately i saw things that i should not have.  this is why i wont recommend eating here.... Makati city HEALTH & SANITATION should inspect the establishment. Probably needs overtime work since the store opens at 5PM- 12, when city government is already closed. there were infestation in the establishment you can SEE and hear them running on the roof... residents at the back are not concerned they seem to be used to it!

Ate here with fa(r)t girl merl. So far masarap naman yung maki rolls nila. Masarap din yung hikiniku ramen. Yum yum. Sa sobrang sarap nakaka several plates si fat girl. As in parang walang kabusugan. Parang ngayon, habang nirereview ko to, gutom na naman siya. Buti na lang relatibong malapit lang ang kaito sa bahay.

At first I thought my friends were joking when they said there was a place like this. True to their words it was simply awesome! Turning Japanese in an affordable way.

Taste of is okay. But service is really bad. It took me 30 mins for a take out of katsudon and california maki. My katsudon has long been cooked. Also, you pay additional 10 pesos per box of take out. 😕

Decent little open-air Japanese joint. Very reasonably priced. My gyudon wasn’t bad - tender beef and onions cooked just right. Reasonably popular, no surprise given the good prices and OK food, so drop by at offpeak hours or be prepared to wait for a seat.
