Discovered a gem near my place!  The ambience is great.  Classy and quiet.  All dishes I've tried have been excellent so far except the Tuna Burger lunch set.  The taste of all other foods are very delicious and not too salty.  The price is also very reasonable considering the serving size compared to other Japanese restaurants in the area.  It also offers a huge variety of vegetarian dishes unlike other Japanese restaurants.  To add to that, always attentive and good service.

This restaurant is a bit hidden as it’s located at the quieter side of Greenbelt. We rarely eat at this area of Greenbelt as we found the restaurants there are more on the upscale side. Kai serves traditional Japanese food fare. Nothing really special though it tastes really good. I love the Kani Salad, Salmon Teriyaki and Tofu Teppanyaki. The salmon’s really fresh. We also liked the grilled salmon teriyaki although they could add more teriyaki sauce on it. I just find some of their food servings small as it’s just good for 2 persons.

Kai is expensive, but their food is really good! FoodWe had sashimi, pork, and salad. Everything is really yummy. It’s like each dish is prepared with enough japanese-filipino fusion that’s gonna make you drool more with each bite you get.AmbienceNot so much people were around when we visited. The tables are kinda far from each other, which means you get to have enough privacy. Their restroom is also clean. ServiceWaiters served everything fast and are also polite and friendly! Can’t wait to go back!

Upon entering the restaurant you start to feel a different vibe. Almost immediately you will get the impression that you’re somewhere really high end. First and foremost, their service is excellent. The waiters seated us properly and even placed the napkins on our laps. Second, the food was pretty great. Salmon Cream cheese - 3/5 This was pretty sour probably due to the rice wine vinegar and so i think it masked the true flavor of the salmon. Sea Bass - 5/5 First time to try this and flavors just exploded in my mouth. Truly excellent. US Ribeye - 5/5 Just awesome. Salmon Sashimi - 3.5 Tastes fresh frozen. Definitely had better. Overall it was a great experience with a huge bill. Will definitely come back again but i probably wont eat here on a typical day.

The wasabi oyster here is a nostalgic and staple favorite! Salmon sashimi was so fresh and generous per slice. We also tried their unagi with rice + foie gras. It was good, but foie gras had a slightly bitter taste, which made it a bit overpriced for what it was.

For a Japanese restaurant, the prices here isn't that bad. The ambiance is really great and it does looks like a fancy restaurant with really expensive menu, but it is really not that expensive. My mom and I ate here for dinner and we loved it. The uni was fresh and it's a lot compared to other Japanese restaurants I have been. Their sushis were great too. They have responsive waiters too.

Great service. Great food. Excellent ambiance with a great garden view of greenbelt. The way they set up the outside seats are so relaxing.Wonderful selection of seafood and I love their special sashimi platter! The warm chocolate cake valrhona is a superb!

Foie gras sushi, one for me and one for the dude that pays for the privilege to take me out on a date😋Tuna sashimi is fresh. Dragon roll was so-so. Totally did not look like a dragon roll, was super skinny and barely had filling in it.

Out of curiosity we decided to try this place out. Maybe we just ordered the wrong dishes but this place was really disappointing. The Grilled Salmon (1 star) was overcooked and really burnt, the Wasabi Oysters Dynamite (1 star) tasted like breading with a hint of wasabi flavor, the 10-hours Braised Pork Belly (3 stars) was so-so. Only thing we enjoyed was the Salmon Sashimi (4 stars). These were all recommendations from the waiter... not worth it for P2009.73 , would have probably enjoyed eating at the the canteen better for like P200.

This place is located a little hidden as it is located on the outside area of greenbelt 5 near the fish pond. The service and ambiance is average, not maintained as well as it should with chipped plates and tables. However, the food is great and portion size is just right. I would go back for the food.
