We don’t actually have Korean BBQ here but we go here for the Galbi or Bulgogi Lunch Bento Box, for our binge eating nights before partying. It’s jam packed with Kimchi, Rice, Korean Beef Soup and Some more Side dishes. It’s really worth the price if you’re starving and craving for all-in-one Korean.

Honestly, we don't really recommend this place but of course feel free to try this out if you fancy a Korean restaurant and it is already late at night. Perhaps that's one of the pros that they have aside from the owner being nice in contrast to the bored servers. We went on a Saturday late lunch and there were only two other customers aside from us but the service was really terrible. We were originally planning to take lots of pictures because we were supposed to feature them on our blog (not sponsored) but we didn't bother anymore because we were met with the saddest looking side dishes. They only gave us two pieces of baby potatoes and when we asked if they can give us more, the server looked at us and said with a stern face that we had to eat those first before asking for a refill (take note, the refills are not unlimited). Of course, we understand the logic behind the policy to avoid food waste but come on, you can do way better with other Korean restaurants. We also didn't like the Kimchi Jjigae, it was just spicy. That's it. We liked their beef stew but it's not a good enough reason to come back. Even the samgyupsal was not that good. Too bad, the place actually have potential.

Below average meat and has small meat servings (shookt kami!)they said unli side dishes but when we asked for another refill of romaine lettuce, they said last na daw yun (this was our third) despite of ordering three meats. When we are about to ask for a refill of the sprouts, they said out of stock na daw? Hmmm.EDIT: the korean owner handles the raw frozen meat without gloves! she also is the cashier. EWWWWservice 👎🏻 all of them are frowning

Worst Korean restaurant I've had the displeasure of dining at. 750p for 180g of beef, with minimal side dishes. Extremely low value for money.

Small korean restaurant, with the tastiest side dishes i have tasted so far. Portion may be small, but they are generous when it comes to refills.My fav is the kimchi jigae with sardines. Just a twist to the taste but dont have to worry of the fatty-ness from pork broth.Recent visit showed that the place has been repainted, dining tables and chairs have been changed - so its really a nice, refreshed feeling of the resto environment. Wished there were brighter street lights around.

So the collective negative reviews for this restaurant scared the heck out of me. I was terrified the place would be an unsavory dump.I'm no expert on Korean food, but I really enjoyed what our table ordered. The chapchae looked light colored compared to what it typically looks like, but it was really good and flavorful. The seafood pancake was so good and is best eaten hot. The grilled meats I admit seemed very pricey but were sooo soft and tender. Wonderfully cooked. We also got a beef stew that was very delicious with incredibly tender beef.I should also mention that the restaurant has a nice parking area and is on a wide street across from a new looking building. Nothing unsavory about the location!

Just had spicy samgyupsal. Nice workers. Very good and delicious. Big portions. Would recommend to anybody. I will return when I come back to Makati.

I like their yukgaejang and pajeon... must try! The owner is friendly and very welcoming; her staff should take her as their role model (ifywim). Their grilled pork and beef are expectedly pricey, but delish nonetheless.

If you need a late night Korean restaurant in Poblacion, Jumong is the answer for your Galbi cravings. It is not open 24 hours but is open 'til late (4AM I think)They grill the meats on your table but it's not the charcoal type but just a grill over a burner stove. It gets busy and it does get a shore of Korean nationals eating in this place.The service is not that great but not as bad as what the other reviews say.The place is not that neat either. But the food is good nevertheless.

I've had this amazing gastronomical experience at Jumong Korean Restaurant with none other than 7 Koreans, 4 of which were my ESL students. They choose this restaurant among the many Korean food outlets in the area.We ordered Pork Belly BBQ Samgeopsal with their standard 7 side dishes, Korean Beef Rib stew and 2 more dishes, the names escape me at the moment.Heavenly!The place is small and jampacked with customers mostly Koreans themselves. Here, you will learn to ignore the tiny details that usually play a huge part on food reviews like tiny place, no parking, etc. But food was excellent, so was the service!I advise that you visit this place hungry. You won't regret it 😉😊
