Poblacion St. in Makati City is becoming one of the must stops for those who want to try out the best hidden gem among bars and pubs in the city. This one bears the name of one of the most popular brands of alcohol in the world, Jose Cuervo. A name which brings a lot of memories for those who love their alcohol as most of us have something to associate with Cuervo Tequila whether these exciting nights or spontaneity or bad decisions that we wouldn't want anyone else to know. In Mexico, tequila is obviously the drink of choice and its also their celebrated signature beverage to a point where there are pubs and bars that are solely dedicated to serve tequila along with tapas or snack. Jose Cuervo Tequileria aims to bring the authentic mexican tequileria experience to the heart of the Metro. Their indoor/outdoor design of the place and colorful decorations remind me of the beautiful Mexican culture while the pumping beats of latin music made me want to shake my hips.As the second stop in website’s Poblacion PubCrawl in partnership with Nutriasia, we were greeted by both non alcoholic mocktails and alcoholic concoctions both using NutriAsia’s Locally brand of fruit juices which was all part of the complimentary drinking experience. The non-alcoholic beverages we’re delicious and fruity, especially the Tamarind Cosmo which had a nice fizz that can fool you to believing this was alcoholic. However the rest of the non alcoholic mocktails but they didn’t bring anything new to the table besides sweet and fruity mocktails. •The addition of grenadine to the Calamansi Margarita Mocktail muddled the flavor of the calamansi juice that it wasn't recognizable any longer. However their alcoholic mixes we’re superb, the bartenders masterfully concocted cocktail shots which brought out the refreshing zest of the fruit juices and excellent latin zing that only the best quality tequila could bring. • The Mojito Kamias was citrusy but the unqiue taste of the Kamias Juice mixed with good tequila made it far more interesting than your jsual mojito. I was grabbing one shot after another because it was so good.• The Guyabano Sex on the Beach was a refreshing cocktail both perfect for Instagram perfect for the summer. Aside from the beverages, they also served bar chow like garlic peanut and Nachos. I wasn’t able to have a try of their garlic peanuts because of my allergies but everyone else loved it.• There was also a serving of Nachos generously topped with classic ingredients like Ground Beef, Jalapenos, Tomatoes, and Cheese. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary but it was still good even though it got soggy after all the InstagrammingOverall, the Drinks we’re the main stars of this show and they were able to shine through the food which wasn’t as special. I would’ve love to come back and have a taste of the other food that they can offer. Their pricing is more on the premium side compared to othet bars and pubs in the city but the experience and the effort put into these drinks is worth the price.Jose Cuervo Tequileria was able to live up to the name that they bear through simple but delicious cocktails and simply the best alcohol. I usually try to go right past Burgos St. in Makati whenever I pass the area. However, smack in between all the girly bars, I've discovered that there are several website joints and decent bars. The Jose Cuervo Tequileria is one such establishment. I don't know how I missed it before since it has a fairly prominent location along Burgos. Perhaps the flashing lights elsewhere distracted me. Anyway, we stopped here for a few drinks during our Poblacion bar crawl with NutriAsia's Locally fruit juices. The place is open but surprisingly airconditioned. That is a really big plus factor in Manila's scorching heat. The Mexican interiors were also inviting. We only just had some tasty nachos so I can't judge the food. However, they have a fairly well-stocked bar and an accommodating head chef. It's probably worth another try. A good choice if you're in the area but not interested in the entertainment options offered by the neighboring establishments.

Our second stop for our Poblacion Pub Crawl was this bar that was reminiscent of the "Red Light District" era of Poblacion. It was the dim kind of place, mostly wooden interiors, open air but with AC provision and still being frequented by foreigners. . Welcome to Jose Cuervo Tequileria!. Open kitchen + Bar Counter

Speaking of Tequila, first thing that would pop-up on to your mind is Jose Cuervo a very well known brand for Tequila and it is my favorite!!! I knew I would love our 2nd stop of our Poblacion Pub Crawl by the name itself “‘Jose Cuervo’ .. Tequileria”. Home of Tequilas!!! First thing that I’ve noticed is the mexican accent of the place every corner was a feel of mexico. I remembered taking up pictures with those big sombreros haha. I kinda love the ambiance I really like drinking to those bars who have an open area and good thing about JC Tequileria is that even though it is an open area you would still feel comfortable because of the aircon. You read it right hahaha wonder how high they pay for their electricity haha anyway, let’s talk about their food and drinks..They prepared some of the cocktails and mocktails using the four flavors of Nutriasia’s Locally which are the Calamansi, Guyabano, Kamias and Tamarind. My personal favorite was the Tamarind Cosmopolitan and the Sex on the beach Guyabano because the flavor of the Tamarind and the Guyabano stands out it was really mixed dynamically with the alcohol it was not too strong you could still knew that it was made with Locally. They also served Mojito Kamias and the Calamansi they were my least favorite but doesn’t mean that it doesn’t tasted good. It was based on my own preferred taste. Btw, they also served it with Nachos! ;)I would also like to compliment the pleasing and wonderful staffs of tequileria we’re all warmly welcomed, they always make sure that we’d be satisfied. They were all busy accommodating us. Haha especially the head chef! He explained all of the cocktails made. Overall experience was great! Definitely would come back and bring my drink buddies! :D

Él mejor bar mexicano de filipinas!! Not the best restaursnt, but the best mexican bar, the food is nice.Para los latinos en manila, aquí se pueden reunir a tomar y bailar, y les dejaran poner su propia música si llevan su Cel 😉

They must have the cheapest SML bucket in town!!!Php 280 for 6 bottles! His place isn't necessarily the place a couple conservative girl would have in mind when thinking of a night out in the city. It's right in the middle of the red light district of Makati. I must say it has toned down, from it's hey days in the 80's and 90's. I feel pretty safe walking around (don't get any ideas, I've only been here 3 x TO EAT AMD DRINK during recent times).I have yet to try their Mexican style food here and have only taken on the cocktails and beer.I frankly don't like the regular margarita, it was very ordinary. But I really really like the pink lemonade with tradicional tequila and blueberries. More than the tequila sunrise, which was ok too! (Php 260 vs the Php 230 regular margaritas).La música se detuvo y todos gritaron "¿qué pasó?"Theres dancing, singing, handsome boys and gorgeous girls (and a lot of pretty hookers) around.Open til 6am.

I chose it because this place was very nice:the accomodation,the stuffs,and the guests,. The last time I went here was impressive,I enjoyed the night,and my officemates enjoyed the night too. They want to visit your place again., Miss Bec thank u for the assistance even we late in a minutes but still the table was waiting for us, and I would like to thank the foreigner who gave the cake and margarita, I know you are regular costumer there and its my endless gratitude sir.jCT- I will visit you again.,

Located in the red light district, this place is really decent.Staff relly have a pleasant personnality while the latin atmosphere is a success.A good place to meet with friends, definitely.We got their nachos and quesadillas, while their food is technically far from perfection, they are good bar chows to pair with beer, tequila or rum.

I was invited for a photoshoot and food tasting event at Jose Cuervo Tequileria in Poblacion, Makati. I was fascinated with the Mexican set-up of the place. Very colorful and full of good vibes.
