This place was just recommended by a friend of mine, other than that, I have never seen nor heard of this place before. It was a good thing that I tried Isshin and it easily became one of my favorite affordable and authentic Japanese restaurant. They have a room were you can sit on the floor while eating, it makes the experience more authentic. They do not have Spicy Tuna Salad in their menu and they asked the chef if he can make it and he obliged, and it was good (just added a few more of Togarashi). The gyoza is plump and filling, a must order for me.The chahan tasted authentic and similar to my long-time favorite restaurant.

Small Japanese restaurant with authentic ambience. Order their Kobe Beef Teppanyaki but I don’t feel anything special, either taste or presentation, for 2,400 peso menu. Our other order kani salad, california roll and salmon cheese are okay with decent price.

I’ve always eaten inside the malls near this place so it was my first time here. And I’m definitely eating here again to try out the other dishes. What I really love about restaurants - great customer service. They were really packed at that time but everyone tried their best to accommodate all incoming guests with a smile, no hint of frustration. I saw an old lady and old man accompanying the customers (guessing they’re the owner), busting out the tables, and checking out orders. What a delightful sight. The staff were all busy but they were doing the best they can. The served affordable, authentic Japanese food. Only got to try 2 dishes but both were tasty. I believe the restaurant offers a lot of dishes and it’d be good to try all of those with friends. They are open until around 2-3am. A place you can go to when the mall’s closed and you’re hungry.

I was actually expecting a good authentic taste of Japanese food since they're serving Japanese food for 25years. But I'm sorry I can say that it's just a usual restaurant. The batter of the tempura is not that crunchy and the sauce tastes sweet. Their gyoza has a lot of cabbage inside. Lover yasai tame is also dry and hard.
