I specifically went to their location in SM Makati because the one in Market Market (which is close to my place), I think, is already closed. I went there 3x and it seems that they have not opened anymore.Anyway, there were not too many people so I didn't have to wait long except for my change. The cashier had to step out and probably change my bill.I always love Hokkaido Takoyaki specifically. My initial try of takoyaki from a different store was awful but when my cousin introduced me to this store, everything has changed.I love it that you have an option if you want a spicy one or just the typical mayo. It'd be best if the staff would ask for your preference (there are instances I'd forget to remind them that it should be spicy) instead of just assuming that you want the standard flavor.

Takoyaki is oh-so-yummy!Hokkaido is one of my picks for takoyaki. They serve authentic ones that have octopus bits inside. They have a variety of options to choose from, which by the way are all good. One of my fave choices eould have to be bacon & mozzarella. Everything is better with bacon, most especially when you throw in melted cheese! 😋👍💯Sadly, they didn't have any other options other than the original when I recently went to this branch, after getting my cellphone fixed. I'm not saying that it wasn't good--it was. Just was wishing for more.Food: 4.0 - Out of stock on my prefferred order. But the classic original, never fails and never dies.Service. 4.0 - Friendly staff. Maybe they should know to be more knowledgable of customers demands at a given time. I noticed I wasn't the only one thatwanted something other than original when I was there.Price: 5.0 - Affordable for the sizing of the pieces.Ambience: 2.5 - It can get really crowded in the the area. Tables and seating are small, limited, and very close to each other. You might have elbow wars or have to share a table if you're a solo diner.Next time, I think I should try to come before lunch. They might have stock of all the other ingridients at that time, then perhaps I can order a special takoyaki.

Its tasty, seems legit feels japanese takoyaki :)A must try! They have othed flavors to choose. I'll go back and update this post.

Never mind that we came all the way (just walked, actually) from SLC going to SM Makati just to try their Takoyaki. And without a doubt, it was one of the tastiest that I've tried. 👍👍👍

I tried their original and kani and cheese takoyaki. They taste good. It’s just sad though that the others I originally planned to order weren’t available like the scallops takoyaki, the okonomiyaki and gyoza. Actually, there were lots on the menu that weren’t available.If you just plan on snacking and having a food to go, Hokkaido Takoyaki isn’t a bad idea.

I am a big fan of takoyaki so every time I see a stall or store that offers takoyaki, it makes me happy. Tried kani and cheese and original takoyaki. Takoyaki is big but the content is really meager. It can make you full because of its size. I think the price justifies the taste? They should focus more on quality not quantity. I had tried a better takoyaki before. It is a bit more expensive but the taste is definitely distinct compared with hokkaido takoyaki.

Bongga! 👌💯💯❤️❤️❤️ We went here after work tapos naabutan ko ung mahabang pila good thing nakahanap kami agad ng mauupuan.Would love to rate this to 5 if maayos ung place i guess. They lack space. Hopefully, may sarili talaga silang place to accommodate enough people :)But in terms of food.. I love it! Sulit guys and it's enough to satisfy your cravings 😁 kudos 👌

So I was looking for place to get takoyaki around manila, I saw Hokkaido Takoyaki and it really caught my eye ‘cos it has real octopus in it and nearer in my work place (which is in Makati) so I suddenly go there.When I got there, there are several people who are eating as well. But most of the tables are left uncleaned. On their menu they have four flavor options to choose for, but during my visit they only have two which is the original (octopus), and scallops. So I decided to order the original. Price was 119 for 6 pieces which was okay for me.As for the takoyaki itself, serving was okay. The octopus was kinda small and the serving of bonito flakes was less than I expected. As for the taste, the takoyaki was to die for! Real octopus, great flavor, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! 😍❤️The scallop flavor was great too! Will definitely comeback to try their other flavors as well. 👌🏼The only thing that I didn’t like was most of the tables are left unclean so you need to call the attention of the staff.Food: 5/5 ❤️Price: 5/5Place: 3.5/5

They serve good takoyaki, the cheese can get too overwhelming but you may ask them not to put it, which I think is a better option. The balls can still be enjoyed hours after it was served.
