On this trip, Karla and I shared a combo meal with a small bowl of ramen of choice plus a Donburi made up of crisp and well-seasoned Chicken Karaage. This pairing is only at Php 375.The Kara Miso Ramen was not that spicy according to my friend but it was authentic in taste. She does have an iron tongue for anything with chili.

The ramen is a bit pricey but the soup broth tastes good, especially the spicy one. The gyoza is average. I feel like there’s better value elsewhere. The service, definitely, needs a lot of improvement.

Services are bad. It's not busy here but staffs are uninterested in serving. They just want to stand by the door to chat. When we first arrived tables were not cleaned yet. And it took a long time for food to come. It took us 3 times to finally get our bill. N0odles taste plastic like. Not happy with here

The Kung pao shrimp was really soft and memorable, service charge is only 50 PHP, restroom is clean, a bit small and too cramped and ramen was just ok but the staff is polite and attentive so I still enjoyed it

This is honestly my favorite place to get ramen. Having said that, it's kinda up there in the price point but 100% it's worth the tiny splurge.

Hokkaido is famous for its ramen. Sapporo the capital, is known for miso ramen, while Hakodate is famous for the salt flavored, and Asahikawa offers soy sauce based. At Hokkaido Ramen Santouka, i tried all 3 in their advertised specialty Awase Aji Ramen. First off, expectation vs reality. Clearly the presentation is so far from the photo. That is what good photography and styling can do. It tends to heighten the customer expectation but fails to deliver visually. The soup broth tasted good and creamy but wasnt hot enough. The noodles which is what i like in a ramen is completely wrong. The best way i could describe it is store bought mami. The yellow colored noodles was tough. Fail! The pork was soft and tasty but paper thin. The egg was still cold in the middle. I feel full but not satisfied. Thats probably why the place is not as packed as it used to be when it was new. I’ve never been to hokkaido and would want to go someday. I’m sure if someone from there ate here, they would probably feel sad. Or dissapointed. Or angry :)

Shio Ramen at Hokkaido Ramen Santouka is a must-try ramen. Very flavorful mild soup of pork broth seasoned with salt. The pork slices were flavorful and tender. Komi Tamago (soft boiled egg) was perfect. Menma (fermented bamboo shoots) and naruto (cured fish) are tasty additions to the ramen. All in all, a fantastic ramen dish!

I’ve been here a couple of time. Expect long lines during lunch time. The prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality of food that you are getting.

Had:Kara Miso RamenTakoyakiNot the best ramen I've had, but good enough. Best part was the pork - tender and tasty. The takoyaki is skippable. Opt for another side dish instead.
