This one of makati's hidden southeast asian cuisine gem! Foods are great at a reasonable price... Starts with a good dish and ends with a cup of kopi tiam roast authentic asian coffee!

This place offers Hawker-style Singaporean food. It's quite similar to what we call "carinderia" in the Philippines.Their bestseller is their Hainanese Chicken, but I was not really in the mood for that so I decided to get something else. I promise, though, to try it next time. The staff was very attentive, maybe because I was the only customer at that time. The girl who served me was very helpful when I was deciding what to order. She was patient in explaining to me what some of the food items are, since I'm not familiar with them. In the end, I went for their Pork Humba (PHP 188) and two servings of their Nasi Lemak (PHP 40 each). I was given a free bowl of lukewarm soup. I didn't mind that it was not piping hot since I got it for free.Their Pork Humba tasted like asado, but with a slight Asian flair and flavor. The pork pieces I received were a bit fatty, but they were soft and tasty that I ended up asking for another cup of rice. The Nasi Lemak is just steamed rice cooked with coconut milk. You wouldn't really notice the coconut flavor until you take a spoonful of rice into your mouth without anything else. But if you eat it with some viand, you'll hardly think it's different from regular steamed rice. Will I visit again? Yes. I will yet to try their Hainanese Chicken and some of their other food items, like the Seafood Rice and Nasi Goreng. Date of Visit: February 27, 2015
