    Good they moved to the basement and the place is cooler now.Among shabu shabu places this is my favorite. Servers are attentive. The place is clean and you get value for money. Their sets are generous and their meat slices are thick enough for you to determine what you're having. Mini shabu shabu (a different resto) chicken slices are paper thin and see thru, a major disappointment. I hope they open one in QC. But now among all branches Rockwell is my preferred branch.

    My visit would have been perfect if not for the fact that the waitress, upon asking what the sauce ingredients for the shabu shabu would be. She only said, proudly, that it was special. Which was not responsive to my question. There is usually a reason for asking about the ingredients or the components of the meal, and my reason leads up to anaphylactic shock. I am allergic to shrimp and wasn't informed that the dipping sauce ingredients included Sambal sauce which has lots of shrimp. I found out after tasting it, right after we had already put the veggies integrated chicken broth. If they had informed us WHEN I asked then we could have had the choice of eating elsewhere. I had to take my trust antihistamine and eat my meal. When I pointed this out to the manager and informed him, he had the gall to ask me if I wanted him to replace the meal. WHICH WAS NOT MY POINT, MY POINT IS THAT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN COURTEOUS AND DAMN PROPER FOR THEM TO HAVE ANSWERED MY QUESTION IN THE FIRST PLACE. I THEN WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO MAKE AN INFORMED CHOICE WHETHER TO STAY AND RISK ANAPHYLAXIS OR LEAVE AND EAT ELSEWHERE. Suffice it to say that we are not going back to this place.

    My go to place when I have colds and/ or feverish... the soup and vegetables instantly makes me feel better. Service is great and shrimp is always fresh. I hope they go back their old location in powerplant, this new 1 is too small especially for the weekend crowd.

    I was craving for shabu-shabu so we ate here. I had their seat a meat with seafood (beef tenderloin). The meat was just okay, a bit bland. I didn't like the soup though. Service could still be improved, it was a bit slow and it was hard to call the attention of the servers. Also, there was a big fly lurking at our table, though at least they gave us a candle that kept it away (for the most part lol). The cleanliness of their utensils seemed to be questionable too. ;;

    Our Healthy Shabu Shabu experience here at Rockwell wherein i really enjoyed my meal. You will be served with hot water and a variety of vegetables.. Carrots, corn, chinese cabbage, crab, fishball, mushroom, and egg. There is meat, shrimp, clams and other seafood to be cooked in a pot of boiling water with different kinds of condiments. As a health buff i really liked it!

    My afternoon lunch featured a fish fillet shabu-shabu. It came with at least eight thin slices of dory, bunch of veggies, and a roll of vermicelli. Soup was ok, little to be desired. The dipping sauce was sweet with a garlic twist to it. The free Japanese Halo-Halo was the only highlight of my lunch. It had slices of bananas, kiwis, peaches, and black gulaman. It was refreshingly good.

    The meat was good and the seafood was fresh but the soup was a little salty for me. I think it also has a lot of MSG. I like the other shabu shabu restaurant in BGC better than this.Prices in a shabu shabu restaurant can be high but a single order like this ( beef sirloin with seafood, php690) can be shared by two people so I think it is still not that expensive as long as you're not eating alone.

    Last time I ate here was probably 6-7 years ago. I suddenly missed this place. It's the same menu that has a unique personal shabu shabu offer. No need to share.. just choose your meat: pork, beef, chicken or seafood. All comes with veggies and dessert. Price is very affordable!

    I had an awesome hot pot experience at Healthy Shabu Shabu. The meat were delicious and the portions were better than other places that serve shabu shabu. We had the US Angus Beef Set and the Seafood Set. The beef was thinly-sliced, the seafood and vegetables were fresh, and everything was well-plated.The restaurant is really popular so waits can be painful and it's not exactly quick food either. As soon as we're finished with the appetizers, the waiter fired up the stove in the middle of the table and came back with the broth together with our choices of proteins.I was at first skeptical that we started with what looks like 'plain water' on the shabu pot, but the water turned into a very flavorful broth once we put in the proteins, vegetables, and noodles. We also side ordered steamed dumplings to add some texture and flavor to the broth. It was a great dinner choice combined with great customer service. This is an enjoyable mealtime based activity to do with a friend or a small group. It makes the meal interactive and interesting and also tastes quite yummy. Overall, it's a nice place to go with friends on a cold, rainy night. The restaurant definitely tries to be more high-end so the price is slightly high for having to cook food yourself, but definitely a solid choice.

    Been here twice. As its name suggests, this place specializes in authentic Japanese style hot pot - shabu shabu, which is served with thinly sliced beef meat, and a plateful of assorted fresh vegetables. The service could use some work but the food was great. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and I, for sure, will be coming back for more! Check them out!
