Our first time to try the filipino breakfast here. Loved the dishes we tried in both presentation and taste.The Tinapa corn chowder was well presented and had a nice spicy taste. The tapsi 2.0 with tapas and poached egg was sumptuous and tasty. So was the beef pares with tamago strips. The chili oil added an extra zing to this dish.Went down well with Moroccan Mint tea.Good place for breakfast. ... expensive but worth it!

Admittedly a fan of the celebrity chef Erwann Heusaff, its been known through my posts how Im openly stalking him in his restaurants (from Crisp 28th to Niner Ichi Nana and Hungry Hound to name a few). Haha. However, their food offerings can be quite erratic (inconsistent). Some tastes quite bland (maybe because they use healthier ingredients skipping all things salty/fatty). For someone used to that, they may find the food here lacking in flavor. But if you try to savor each bite, you'll end up loving them too. It just takes a while and it may not be your usual love at first bite moment. Had their Korean Fried Chicken Benedicts (K fried chicken thighs. 64 degree egg. Peach sesame slaw. Black sesame seed biscuit. Coriander. Gochujang) - its a medley of different flavors, given that it has cilantro and that pungent fermented Korean condiment which I believe is the Gochujang. Also, the sweetness of the peach slaw makes this dish unique to my palate. Next dish was the NYOB. Made out of homemade bacon, wild mushroom, sauteed spinach, muffin, 64 deg egg and citrus hollandaise. The tangy sauce was refreshing but then, it was just okay for me. We also had their Bread Basket 1 which was huge and good for sharing. Their Smoked Salmon was delightful. Think croissant, spinach, onion and caper remoulade, fried egg and spicy tomato relish, yum! Service was so-so. The place was full and so the servers were busy. Our bill took time to arrive and had to get their attention twice for water refill. Will be back to try their Pinoy breakfast next time I find myself in the area. (Tapa 2.0 sounds great)
