Authentic Chinese cuisine. Love the ambiance. My favorite was the platter with asado, jellyfish and Hainanese chicken. Some foods were a bit bland for my taste, but I think it's better rather than salty or filled with the usual MSG. We all enjoyed the mango sago for dessert. My friend has allergy for crabs, so it's quite refreshing that they've got corn and fish soup instead.

Excellent chinese banquet food and this judgement comes after eating chinese banquet food only 15hours prior (previous night). Hai shin lou has a taste that differentiates from other chinese lauriat restaurants in the market. Place is clean and nicely decorated. More on my blog entry soon.

fried in ginger and onion. We decided to forego the 2nd way (Duck Bone with Ginger & Onion) and just brought home the duck bone as takeout. . Duck Skin wrapped with Hoisin Sauce. Stir Fried Shrimps & Cuttlefish with French Beans -a. good dish and the cuttlefish meat is not rubbery (not overcooked).

We go here with friends for our peking duck fix. We always get the 3 kinds of combination peking duck. Today we also got fried rice, suckling pig, hot prawn salad, chicken, seafood fried rice and mango sago. Their free fried wanton appetizer and house tea are also good.Booking is recommended as the place gets busy. They have limited parking and have valet.
