Tried this gyoza joint without expecting too high because it's inside a foodcourt. I've ordered the black vinegar chicken big bento,I'm a bit surprised that the gyoza is good nice skin not the too oily that the other fastfood chain joints served. The black chicken vinegar is like the Chinese style sweet and sour tho with a twist ,the tangy taste has a smoky flavor which I liked. Price is reasonable. Kind staff.

I must have expected too much. The design of the store is promising. So does the food presentation. First, I expected a gyoza-only set that has different varieties. But what they offer is a bento set that has gyoza as sides.Secondly, it is named gyoza bar but the gyoza is worst! Sauce is mixed with the gyoza that must have made it too sour! Meat also tastes like its been frozen for days. Thirdly, Chahan is not sticky. While Yakisoba has too much floss that it doesn't taste like Yakisoba. In short, it is frustrating.

Gyoza is pork japanese dumplings. I don't know why I went here, I don't even eat pork, maybe just because it's new. Anyways... The Black Vinegar Chicken was alright, it's sweet and sour, too salty for me though. Chicken Teriyaki was good too, except it has way too much salt. The Yakisoba that came with the big bento box was good paired with their chili.

The food looks good but tastes...alright, I guess. So I ordered the tempura meal and the meal was basically tempura, rice, soup, and (of course) Gyoza. The Gyoza was really salty, and a bit soggy. I'm not really that familiar with Gyoza. I don't usually order it when I'm in a Japanese restaurant so my sense of taste may be faulty. The tempura was good. I guess you couldn't really go wrong with that, while the rice wasn't even moderately warm. Surprisingly? The soup was actually pretty good (especially since the soup is the least side dish I look forward to when ordering Japanese meals). In sum, the food was alright for a food court meal....but honestly, I wouldn't pay that much for the quality of the food.

Good bentos at a very affordable price. Their chahan was really satisfying, absolutely perfect with their gyoza. Umami at every bite. A quick fix for my japanese cuisine craving. Gyoza bar is now part of my list of go-to japanese fast foods.

I was looking for a place to eat in Glorietta the other day and thought of checking their food court. Since it was just me, I didn't have to bother thinking if the place will be okay for my kids. Looking around, I spotted Gyoza Bar by Osaka Ohsho. Been seeing reviews of Osaka Ohsho and have been wanting to try for the longest time but distance wouldn't permit. So I thought this was my chance.Big Bento Box of Pork Tonkatsu for only 195php - not bad at all. The bento box had 2 pieces of gyoza, rice, noodle and pork Tonkatsu. Also came with a small bowl of miso soup. The Pork Tonkatsu was just okay. It wasn't as flavorful as I thought but it was tender. The sauce that it was drizzled with was sweet and salty - just right. However, the breading wasn't as crisp anymore. The gyoza were good. Steamed with that signature crisp bottom, I liked that it was swimming in a spicy mix of soy sauce with chili oil. I wished there were more of these yummy babies in my bento box 😳 Maybe next time I'll add in an extra order of gyoza! I liked the noodle in the bento box too. It was simple and was more like pancit canton but was rather good. It had some veggies in it and was somewhat spicy. The set also came with fried rice that was just okay.

Food: Tasty for a foodcourt meal, but it was too salty for my taste. Rice was not that sticky so better use a spoon than the provided chopsticks. Dry and cold for a chahan--sad, I know. Also, expect watery Katsudon. The katsudon was too salty, soggy and cold--huhu. Even the miso soup was salty. The gyoza was the "savior", their specialty. Not sure if they can just sell the gyoza only. By the way, the gyoza they serve is normally soft, so if you like a crunchy-outside-soft inside gyoza, this is not it. Servings: Enough to fill a tummy, but they have bigger bento as option. A set includes miso soup, gyoza, rice and a viand. Location: Eye catching in the middle of the food court, yes, it is a good spot but it also has big competition from other brands. Price: For less than P200 a meal for classic bento, it was ok but since I wasn't able to finish my meal, nah. Will I come back again? I am not sure if I'll be able to try it again since I need to try the other stalls. For my tastebuds, I might not go for a no, or not now--unless they stop putting salt or soy sauce. But if I'm craving for fastfood gyoza, yeah sure.

Osaka Ohsho made affordable.I'm glad that I came across Gyoza Bar while looking for lunch on a Monday. I tried their Chicken Fingers Set and I was not disappointed. The set comes with 2 pieces gyoza, which I love as it is flavorful, miso soup, Chahan rice, which is a meal in itself, and their Chicken Fingers, which is tasty and satisfying. Whenever I'm in Glorietta Food Choices, Gyoza Bar is my go-to for a meal.

I give it a relatively high rating because for a fastfood-version of the main outlet Osaka Ohsho, this wasn't bad at all!For the price of under P200/bento box, this is, indeed, value for your money. They didn't scrimp on the pretty authentic Japanese taste, neither did they cut back on the servings: they were quite sizeable and hearty/filling.This is probably a long-shot, but I really hope they'd add Takoyaki in their menu. Hehehehe.Tabemashou!
