Tried this gyoza joint without expecting too high because it's inside a foodcourt. I've ordered the black vinegar chicken big bento,I'm a bit surprised that the gyoza is good nice skin not the too oily that the other fastfood chain joints served. The black chicken vinegar is like the Chinese style sweet and sour tho with a twist ,the tangy taste has a smoky flavor which I liked. Price is reasonable. Kind staff.

I must have expected too much. The design of the store is promising. So does the food presentation. First, I expected a gyoza-only set that has different varieties. But what they offer is a bento set that has gyoza as sides.Secondly, it is named gyoza bar but the gyoza is worst! Sauce is mixed with the gyoza that must have made it too sour! Meat also tastes like its been frozen for days. Thirdly, Chahan is not sticky. While Yakisoba has too much floss that it doesn't taste like Yakisoba. In short, it is frustrating.

Gyoza is pork japanese dumplings. I don't know why I went here, I don't even eat pork, maybe just because it's new. Anyways... The Black Vinegar Chicken was alright, it's sweet and sour, too salty for me though. Chicken Teriyaki was good too, except it has way too much salt. The Yakisoba that came with the big bento box was good paired with their chili.

The food looks good but tastes...alright, I guess. So I ordered the tempura meal and the meal was basically tempura, rice, soup, and (of course) Gyoza. The Gyoza was really salty, and a bit soggy. I'm not really that familiar with Gyoza. I don't usually order it when I'm in a Japanese restaurant so my sense of taste may be faulty. The tempura was good. I guess you couldn't really go wrong with that, while the rice wasn't even moderately warm. Surprisingly? The soup was actually pretty good (especially since the soup is the least side dish I look forward to when ordering Japanese meals). In sum, the food was alright for a food court meal....but honestly, I wouldn't pay that much for the quality of the food.

Good bentos at a very affordable price. Their chahan was really satisfying, absolutely perfect with their gyoza. Umami at every bite. A quick fix for my japanese cuisine craving. Gyoza bar is now part of my list of go-to japanese fast foods.
