Oh wow, what can i say. WE HAD A SUMPTUOUS FEAST. You can see everything we ordered on the pictures, i wasn't the one who ordered but everything was so delicious. Well, it's a bit pricy but i'd say you get what you pay for. Thinking about this resto makes my mouth water. You should definitely visit this place if you're into Middle Eastern Cuisines.

A little pricey for the service and food experience.

Poor service. Not worth our money. Overpriced. We had to ask for the utensils, sugar for our cappuccino, and the other meals ordered before the staff paid attention. The beef curry was nice except that it was too obvious that it was only re-heated.

This is my go to place whenever I needed something nice for myself. I enjoy the foods here. It's an upgraded version of Mr. Kebab if you'll ask me. I dont understand why people keep saying that the staff arent hospitable enough. The staffs are very accomodating.

This place taught me to love Persian food. This restaurant is a reveal! Do not miss their chicken makanwala and gormeh sabzi. No other persian resto is as fancy as hosseins. Whenever you stopped by greenbelt, be sure to dine here.

i remember looking for a good indian food since i was craving for authentic kebab. i was also interested with gilak's interior since to me it looked classy. the first time i went here i ordered shawarma and i think kebab as well. the service was great and we did not have to wait that long. the shawarma was nice and was freshly made. the second time we went here we went for the authentic curry but the server said that we might not be able to handle the spiciness of the typical curry (there was like different levels of spiciness you can choose from) we opted to go for the middle spicy level. the curry was good but not the spicy level i was hoping for. the prices of their food were above the average so its not really budget friendly. however the taste of their food were great 😎🤓

Food is simply delicious, theres not much of a taste and aroma in the food but it just delicious. We had chicken masala, beef curry and vegetable biryani. The beef and chicken is super tender and juicy, the gravy is savory and fragrance. Love it.

Im a fan of Hossein in Serendra because of the accommodating vibe of the staff and the quality and portion of the food. I thought it was the same in Gilak, unfortunately no. The waiter and waitress who served our table werent even at par with the service of the servers in Serendra. No table napkins on the table. They wouldnt give you one unless you ask for it. They wouldnt even serve house water unless asked. The waitress didnt repeat our orders, so we had to ask her to recite it all to us. Good thing we did, because apparently she took down some wrong orders. Food, however, is equally good, exactly the same menu as in Serendra. Aircon on the corner had a leak, so we transferred to another table (good thing there was a vacant one that can accomodate us at that moment). If craving for persian food again, I'd rather go to Hossein in Serendra.

Everything was just okay for me. All dishes tasted as expected. I ordered a plain lassi after I ate a spicy beef kebab. I guess I got used to the less authentic restaurants’ lassi, as I did not enjoy this one. Although the place seems outdated, it doesn’t have that noisy restaurant feel like others do. Great for when you want conversations over food.

Went here for late lunch. Ambiance was homey as the light entered the resto. Not much people, which was preferrable. I enjoyed the chicken tandoori (will verify with menu and my memory).Recommended dishes: kebab, tabbouleh
