My mom was craving for kare-kare so we naturally ended up here. Nice interiors -simple, industrial and masculine. Tonight we ordered sizzling kangkong (for me- Diet eh), beef kare-kare and sizzling bangus sisig. The adobong kangkong on sizzling plate with lots of garlic bits at the top -its too salty for me. Kare-kare was okay.. im not a fan, its not giving me the original peanut taste (feels like they use kare kare powder). I enjoy bangus sisig -it was flavorful and not 'malangsa'. Total bill was 850pesos.

The very first time I went at Gerry's grill from a different location I was like, "I defo will go back". I went back before located in Megamall and it was great and dint change my mind to go back still. But this time, I dunno why the staff were like not seeing anyone. There were lots of vacant tables inside and yet we had to wait outside to be seated but no one's even attending to us. We waited like 15mins outside til someone (a customer) tried to enter and that's the only time that a staff went outside to talk to us. We were seated but... no one even wants to take the order! We stayed in the smoking area cos of my 2 friends and most of the staff are there cos of the customers who order drinks (beer). Someone took our order finally but the serving was like taking forever! I dint even get to enjoy the liempo cos it seems like it was for one person only (not even enough) so we had to order lechon kawali. The mango ensalada was great though and still made my dining experience good.
