Still on its soft opening menu (as of December 2015), it's a promising concept for people who prefer a fresh and healthy menu. Salads aren't just sides at Garde Manger -- they are the stars of the show. Their octopus salad is one of my favorites. They also offer varieties of Vietnamese rolls paired with their respective flavor-packed dipping sauces. Their unique blend of juices and iced teas are a must try, too.Although the restaurant being aptly named, you can't find warm comfort food on their menu. Also, I'm not sure if their fresh items are organic.Check them out at Hole in the Wall in Cetury Mall, Makati.

Finally a much needed Fresh and Healthy addition to my favorite Hole in the Wall!!!   Salad lovers out there would rejoice as a good site for veggies is in town. Servings are pretty big for its price. Dined in here with my girl and she loved it. She's been here quite several times but this is my first time (I'm no salad lover) but I was amazed at how tasty the salads were! Im a convert! For first timers I suggest you try the watermelon & sisig salad! YUMM!!! Will definitely come back and try some other combinations. A must have for people who are having a hard time losing the December weight. Haha.

I had a pretty good first experience at Garde Manger, the second seemed a little lost. However, I did enjoy both and I look forward to a third. I always order the quinoa and tofu rolls and am always thrilled by how fresh they taste. The second time around I had to send mine back because they forgot the quinoa but later I was too embarrassed to send it back again after I found it was missing the miso paste. The first time's the charm, I guess. The first time the rolls were pretty great, and whole not to mention. The flavors complimented each other well and the vinegary dressing added a nice Asian kick to the dish. I find this dish to be a great vegetarian meal. I've also had a taste of the octopus salad, and while it was much too spicy and the octopus a little overcooked, it was nonetheless still a good eat.The teas at Garde Manger are excellent, though I found out they had added sweetener. I would've preferred them all natural, but they still tasted pretty amazing. Overall, I like the place and the concept. It's definitely something I'll keep coming back to seeing as how it is just so damn healthy here. I love how they aren't pretentious about the way they promote healthy eating, and how they aren't too strict about it either. I look forward to coming back and seeing what else they cook up.

My choice for dinner on a Sunday - SALAD! Feeling healthy, I opted to find out what the buzz about Garde Manger was all about. Another food venture from Chef Miko Aspiras, this stall offers all things fresh! From salad to drinks - everything is made from fresh veggies and fruits!I tried their Korean Octopus Salad. The serving was filling but I wish there was something more in it to give it some other texture. Coz I kinda got really tired munching and munching the crunchy mix of crisp lettuce and red cabbage chopped into strips - more like ready to be wrapped in a roll. Other then lettuce, there were carrot strips, bean sprouts, black and white sesame seeds and spring onions. They also added some orzo, which is a soft pasta that looks like rice grains but bigger, which absorbed the Korean dressing Gochujang. The dressing was a little spicy but it was savory and had bold flavors. It went really well with the tender chunks of octopus. A drizzle of fresh lemon made this salad bowl more interesting. The citrus kick added a lighter note to the rather heavy dressing.

Well to start off I'm really a sucker for salad now a days 😜 really a fan of Salad Stop but trying their water melon salad I must say they gave me a breathe of fresh air from my usual fix. Presentation wise really really appetizing and you can see how fresh and alive the greens are you would want to dig in. The pistachio nut gave texture, the water melon and orange tease the taste buds with citrus and sweet flavor and of course the well balanced vinaigrette dressing not too sour, not too oily, quite sweet.A refreshing way to start a meal.
