After doing my grocery I decided to look for something to eat in Jazz Mall. Not far from the grocery I saw this restaurant offering 50% off on their Pastas and Pizza so I told myself I must try this one. Offer is good until the end of January 2016. I had their Spaghetti ala Bolognese as recommended and a glass of Iced Tea. The pasta is so good, it is al dente, the flavor and taste is just right. Not too sour not too creamy not too salty and I loved it. They also gave me a slices of bread that goes well with my pasta. The service was good, the food is also good and the place is very much comfortable. Serving is generous also. Loving what I had, I would definitely be back here to try other dishes. My second visit is in my blog :) Personal ratingFood: 4.0Service: 4.0Place: 4.0Happy Eating, website Day Out

The service of this restaurant is very poor.  Four of us went to Fratini's for dinner. We  have asked the help of the waiter to recommend items in the menu because one of us is allergic to seafood.  Aside from the waiter recommending items that got seafood on it, he insisted for us to order more than the group can eat.   Though, i insisted items that did not have seafood and my wish was granted, the waiter kept on insisting to order more.  He recommended to order another pasta dish considering that we have ordered a large salad, large tagliatelle, and a pizza.   He made you feel guilty by stating that the food will not be enough since we were four and must order another pasta dish and have a large pizza.  Since we were not familiar with the serving sizes -- we took the waiters recommendation.   Thus, we ordered large salad, large tagliatelle, large meat lovers pizza and  Arrabiata.   When the food arrived,  in phases -- salad first, then pasta, and finally pizza -- we can barely finish the 2 dishes of pasta when an 18 inch pizza was delivered.    I asked the waiter why he recommended such big proportion and telling us to order more, he just said "you can bring them home anyway".   I was very annoyed.   Fratini's prices are quite high to start with.  Secondly, since we had left overs... i asked another waiter to wrap them to go.   the waiter put the pizza in the pizza box.  After a while, we waited that the 2 pasta dishes on the table will be put in a box as well.   after 10 minutes, i have to instruct the waiter to wrap the pasta dish ... the waiter complied but just took the one pasta dish.   we waited again, and nothing happened.  I have to instruct to wrap the other pasta dish.   I am so annoyed.   This is the first time i have been to a restaurant that you have to literally tell the waiter to wrap the food 3x...   when in the first place there was perfectly good amount of left overs.  However, one of the things i noticed is that the waiter was looking at the left overs.  I suppose she was hoping we will leave them behind.  I suppose they have not eaten such dishes (as they are pricey) that this is an opportunity for them to eat it.      The restaurant is too hot inside.  the air conditioner is not working.  If you are to find a better pasta place, this is not a place to go.  The restaurant is hot and humid, the food is pricey, and the service is poor....   In terms of taste, one should find another pasta place where you can get a better service, better price, and better food.

After doing my weekend grocery and felt the need to have dinner, this restaurant's signage in their main door caught my attention. Fratini's Restauarant is offering 50% off on all pasta dishes and pizza with an order of any drink. I definitely rush myself inside when I saw this. The promo is only valid from January 1 - 31, 2016. (I was not able to have a photo since I was carrying two paper bags at the time. Geez.)

Headed to Makati to try out Fratini's and the verdict? Food's good but be prepared to spend. Located in SM Jazz Mall in Bel-Air, Makati, Fratini's Restaurant is a simple restaurant offering authentic Italian cuisine. Here's what we ordered:Garlic Bread with Spinach and Artichoke Formaggio Dip (P325)Pizza Suprema (P495) - half topped with cream sauce, mozzarella cheese, tuna, prawns, onion, chili, and bell peppers; the other half with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, chicken breast, onion, bell peppers, and pineappleLinguini Al Frutti Di Mare (P325) - Special flat pasta served with assorted mixed seafood, garlic, chili, fresh herbs, and tomato sauce or fish bouillionRavioli Al Gamberoni (P315) - homemade pasta filled with prawns meat and cream cheese, tossed with squid, olives, and parsley sauceRisotto Al Nero de Seppia (P495) - Italian rice braised in a black ink squid stew topped with crispy tiger prawnsCannelloni De Pollo El Funghi (P375) - baked homemade pasta tube filled with roasted chicken meat and fresh mushroom served with cream and cheese sauce

Had a Sunday lunch at the restaurant, very poor. Food does not taste good. They claim a large pasta to serve for 3 but it hardly suffice one. Just one complimentary garlic bread per pax while the none of the dishes ordered where less than 400 pesos. Disappointed. Won't recommend.

Fratini's is an Italian restaurant initially situated in Brunei but luckily, we Filipinos can have a taste of their food offerings for they already put up a branch here in Manila. Patty, a good friend of mine, was so excited for me upon knowing that I was invited to try Fratini's for she visited this restaurant when she had her vacation in Brunei. I highly appreciate the complimentary bread which is the Pane All Aglio/ Garlic Bread. Topping it with parmesan cheese and literally soaking it in balsalmic vinegar is how I like to eat this. I like how the bread acts as sponge as it tries to absorb the sourness from the vinegar. Truly yummy! The container of the balsamic vinegar and olive oil is very unique and interesting. How I wish I could take it home with me.We had the best of everything the could offer for antipasto. At a very reasonable rate of P475, you get to taste 6 various appetizers namely Crispy Prawns, Tomato Bruschetta, Stuffed Mushroom, Mussels Gratin, Zucchini Salad and Caesar Salad. To know more about this restaurant, head to theyoungfoodie.tumblr.com

Fratini's serves Italian cuisine and is conveniently located at the ground floor of SM Jazz, just beside the entrance. The place has chic interiors and a very homey vibe. I, along with some other bloggers, got the chance to try some of their sumptuous dishes. As if that wasn't enough, we were also taught how to make our very own pizzas (highlight of my day lol)! Panne All Aglio / Garlic Bread with Balsamic and Olive Oil: The bread was tasty and chewy, just the way I like it! I actually ate a lot of this while waiting for the appetizer sampler! The Bruschetta tasted very refreshing because of the tomatoes, and the Caesar Salad was amazingly good! The stuffed mushrooms were also really yummy. I wasn't able to try everything because the plates were emptied as soon as it got served lol. But so far, everything I tried tasted pretty good.We were caught off-guard when some staff asked us if we wanted to get our hands dirty and make some pizza. Of course, we said yes!The first step was to sprinkle flour on the tabletop. Then we flattened and shaped the dough using a rolling pin. It was such a challenge to get the perfect round shape! I wonder how the chefs do it? Probably through tons of experience!I don't like pizzas with a lot of toppings so I made a simple shrimp and garlic pizza. I used cheese, shrimps, garlic, bell pepper, and a slice of onion. I don't like onions, so this one was just for aesthetic purposes lol. Then I placed the pizza on a pizza shovel, which would help me place the pizza inside the oven. It wasn't as easy as it looks! Plus, it was really heavy so I had to use both my hands.Once it was cooked, I added basil leaves on top. This was such a fun and rewarding experience for me!If you want to try making your own pizza, you can avail it for P225. This comes with 3 toppings of your choice. Not to worry, because the pizza chefs will be there to guide you every step of the way! What's unique about this Supreme Pizza is that it's composed of 2 different flavors. The half is topped with cream sauce, mozzarella cheese, tuna, prawn tails, onion, chili, and bell pepper, while the other half is topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, chicken breast, onion, bell pepper, and pineapple. What I liked the most about Fratini's pizzas is their crust. The supreme pizza was delicious, but I still prefer the shrimp & garlic pizza I made. Probably because it had all the toppings I liked lol. I suggest you try making your own pizza! Aside from having a pizza tailor-fit to your liking, you also get to create it with your own hands. Trust me, it's a great experience! This can also be a great activity for kids!Pasta Trio: Linguini ai Frutti di Mare, Fettuccine Carbonara, and Spaghetti alla Pugliese: This contains tomato-based, cream-based, and oil-based pasta in one dish! Talk about genius! The Carbonara and the Spaghetti alla Pugliese tasted okay, but the Frutti di Mare was absolutely heavenly! The seafood flavor was seemingly infused in the pasta. This dish is highly recommended!Mixed Grilled Meat: Lamb, Tenderloin, and Chicken Breast in Black Pepper Sauce served with Mashed Potatoes and Sautéed Market Vegetables: I wasn't able to taste all of them but the tenderloin wasn't as tender as I had hoped. I suggest you stick with the pizza and pasta!Classico del Pudding di Choco: Home-made chocolate pudding. Imagine a lava cake with gooey chocolate filling inside.Tiramisu Tradizionale: If you're into coffee and don't like desserts that are too sweet, this is for you!Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience at Fratini's. I especially loved the chewy pizza crust and the flavorful Frutti di Mare Pasta.

I usually bring my kids during weekends at Fratini's so they can enjoy their "make your own pizza" activity. My kids just enjoy customizing their pizza and they offer amazing desserts as well. :) Keep it up Fratinis!

The food that we've tasted are all good and we all like it, they served different appetizer, first course, main course, dessert and off course drinks. The different of this restaurant from other restaurant is that they served different kind of meat even seafood except for pork. Why no pork? Because Fratini’s restaurant was first established in Muslim Country of Bandar Seri Begawan in Brunei. And what else? They are giving you a chance to create your own pizza, for 225 pesos per head (pizza size is 9 giving inches), you can prepare your pizza and choice of your toppings. And take note also that they don’t use “MSG - Mono sodium glutamate” in their food.

Fratini's Restaurant is located at the Ground Floor, SM Jazz, Makati. Just near the main entrance of the mall. With approximately 70 people can be seated inside, the restaurant also have a second floor (veranda). The classy and sophisticated ambiance of the restaurant added more Italian experience to the customers.Quality, presentation and price - these are the 3 things that Fratini's Restaurant offers to their customers. There are no ready-made items in making their pizza (except their dough) which they assure that everything they serve are fresh. They don't serve pork like their branch at Brunei. They have beef, chicken and also lamb meat. Also if you are allergic to any ingredient in particular, you can also request them to reduce the ingredient. They are welcome to their customer's request.Enjoy these fresh and delicious salads here at Fratini's. They offer a wide variety of salads, pasta, and pizza. It wouldn't be perfect without desserts and smoothies.  Of course the pizza! Here at Fratini's Restaurant, you can enjoy making your own pizza for as low as Php 225.00/head. I actually had a a chance to make our own pizza and of course, it turns out to be very delicious!
