I would recommend this place as an alternative work space which serves good food at a reasonable price. I tried their Chicken Waldorf salad sandwich  and it was pretty decent despite they should lessen the mayonnaise on their salad. I ordered an additional cup of  pumpkin soup  and I like it. Rich, creamy and the bread from my sandwich I dipped it there some sort of a mini fondue to me. Overall I would go back here and try their other entrees and of course the work space if needed is  great with power  outlets.

I love my alone time. It’s quite sad to know that some people assume that being alone means being lonely. For me, spending some time with one’s self is proof that you are not dependent on people to do things. I know some people who can’t eat alone. Some can’t even go shopping alone. Well, I have been through that phase too. And yes, saying, “Table for one, please” still makes me giggle. While walking around Rockwell to canvass some items for work, I passed by the strip of restaurants and realized that I was famished. Given, I haven’t had breakfast yet and it was already 1 p.m. that time. I was thinking of having a light snack at some coffee shop but realized that it’s such a waste if I don’t try something new. So after some thought, I decided to visit…Franco’s.Apparently, Franco's is also owned by the management handling Myron’s Steaks, Ribs and Seafood. I noticed though, unlike the steakhouse counterpart, the dishes offered by Franco’s are much more affordable. The place is pretty charming. (Fine, I like wooden tables and cute chairs.)After a quick look at the menu, I decided to go for the Pumpkin Soup (PHP120), Grilled Salmon (PHP350), Crème Brulee (PHP160) and Butterfly Iced Tea (PHP90). Yes, I wanted a light lunch. The pumpkin soup was served first and it was deeelightful! It was creamy and it had a great balance of sweetness and saltiness. I finished the whole bowl in less than five minutes.Next served was my grilled salmon which came with pasta. The grandfather next to my table ordered the same thing after seeing my plate!I drooled when my plate arrived. The serving was just right for one person and it sure was filling. The pasta was cooked well and the grilled salmon was still juicy when served. I also enjoyed the halved tomatoes. The crème brulee was served hot. The server warned me that the plate was still hot and of course, for me to get a better angle, I had to move it. And… ouch. He wasn’t kidding when he said it was hot.The crème brulee was the perfect dish to end my meal. It was creamy and not that sweet. I loved the torched caramel on top too.Overall, I had a lunch at Franco’s. I will definitely be back for more. Well, perhaps I’ll bring my sister along.

Shrimp Truck Shrimp and Angis Beef Tapa is what I liked best when we tried Franco's. The staff were gracious and very helpful in picking out our orders. Decor is nice as well as the food presentation.

Food- My boyfriend and I ordered the 3 cheese pizza, and I must say it's very tasty, but the crust is way too thin! If there's a thin crust, this crust is way super duper extra thin, that's why we ended up rolling each slices of the 10 inch pizza so we can feel the chew in our mouth. You can even consider the skyflakes being thicker than this. I guess it would be much better if the crust is the regular thin crust. Therefore, was it worth the 240 we paid for? Personally yes, considering only because we're just 2 people sharing this pizza. Will I recommend this for sharing for 3 or more people? NO. For our dessert we ordered one chocolate ice cream. Now this is literally a SCOOP of ice cream. Yes it's insufficient, because who the hell in great mind of an ice cream addict will think this amount of scoop will suffice? Ice cream addict or not you would still know it's insufficient and insane to serve an ice cream with that kind of amount. But the real question is, was it good? OVER THE TOP YES! This is by far the most exquisite taste of a chocolate ice cream that I have ordered in a restaurant! Usually when you order an ice cream in a variety of flavor in a restaurant or wherever, it's just one of those typical ice creams you could buy in a grocery store. Now this is where the Franco's have its exception. It's the most chocolatey ice cream ever! Was it worth the 60 php? Setting aside the amount of scoop, YES! Place- The place is quite spacious, and the design is above average. Will I dine in again? For that damn taste of a chocolate ice cream, YES!

The place had the homey feeling that you get comfortable with immediately. There was a long couch were you can seat on the left side and rectangular tables on the right. The middle isle was composed of small square shaped tables which I deemed to be a little small for a dinner esp when dishes were served.First on the list was the pasta primavera which was the best primavera I ever had so far! The dish was accompanied by a triangular shaped toast. The sauce and the ingredients match perfectly without a doubt.Next on the list is the chickpea burger. I expected more on this dish but I ended in a disappointment esp the fries that has exactly the same texture and taste as with the fries if McDonald's. As for the burger, the serving was big but the patty was too soft. It easily breaks into small pieces and end up with bits and pieces of patty on your plate rather than in your mouth.Mushroom risotto was next on the list. This was an ok food, so-so, not a highly recommended dish. The serving was small, a little bit salty, it seem to lack the fragrant aspect of the dish.Last was the vegetable samosas. This comes in tiny dumpling like skin. The sauce was sweet which I did not expect and they don't have the authentic Indian taste which I prefer. 😂😂😂

Franco's used to be Myron's. The restaurant is a tribute to one of the sons of the owner(s). The menu is a shortlisted version of Myron's. This is where you could bring your whole family to dine as the interiors are brighter and more welcoming. It is kid-friendly as well. We pretty much ordered the same stuff from Myron's as these are the best-sellers. The President, (see photo and pardon the shadow) Oysters rockefeller, amaretto sour, ham and cheese croquettes. See what i did there? Happy hour all the time with me! :)

I ordered the Barcelona Pizza and for it's taste and it's price, I thought it was just okay. The only problem with the pizza was the crust was extremely thin to the point of asked ng myself if I was even eating anything or if I'm going to be full. I know, for sure, if anyone with a bigger appetite had ordered this, they wouldn't be satisfied. I really felt the interior design of the place was unique: child-like and modern. The service was also great and quick. Would definitely go back to try out their other dishes.
