Tried different menu today. Their pumpkin soup is rich, flavor is alright. Shrimp mango salad is okay, shrimp and greens are fresh and crispy. However during the time I went there only I waiter, Gabi was attending to everyone. Greeting as they came, showing them to their seats, showing the menu, getting the orders, bringing the food, packing left overs and giving the bill all of these done by just one person . There was one in the counter who pretty much just stayed in the counter . I think they should have better division of breaks/ labor.

Went to Dulcinea today for a quick snack since I'm craving for some Churros and there's no La Lola in the area. I got their Chorizo Pasta, Leche Flan and Mango Shake for my daughter and Churros Con Chocolate for us to share. The Chorizo pasta was good though not spectacular. It came with two soggy and soft garlic bread. There was generous serving of chorizo crumbles in an oil based pasta. I needed to ask for cheese to make it taste better. The Leche Flan was okay. I would say that you can skip this. Served in a small aluminum container, it looked pale and my daughter thought it was mashed potato! Lol What can I say, it didn't taste bad at all but that ain't leche flan! It's more like pudding. Then the Churros! Served beautifully in a white round plate, these lovelies are love month ready! Each one was carefully shaped into a heart! They were warm and crunchy but soft inside. The chocolate dip was OH SO GOOD! Believe me, I haven't been to Dulcinea in years because I didn't like their runny chocolate dip the first time ever that I tried it but this time, they changed it I guess! It was thick and chocolatey and had that Chocolate Batirol goodness in it. Best part - it wasn't too sweet! Gosh, this is THE BEST IN TOWN! I finished almost all in no time since the daughter only wanted one piece and was quite happy with her leche flan 😆Still giving this 5 because of the Churros! I'll definitely go back again and again!

Was not a fan of paella until I tasted the seafood paella here, never thought I'd enjoy "tutong" rice. We also had the callos, salpicao, and lengua. Good food but may be a little tough on the budget for me.

Dine at last night with friend craving for pasta. So we ordered their Pesto which is just enough for us (serving is generous for 1, but can be shared by 2). Then also, tried their dessert sampler. First, the Pesto was fine. Nothing special, really. It has the expected pesto flavor tho maybe a bit bland. Good thing, they have parmesan cheese to add up a bit flavor and counteract the oil.Second, the Dessert Sampler includes, chocolate bar, sanzrival and leche flan. The chocolate bar was fine. Again, nothing special. Just the same chocolate bars you'll get from other bakeshops. The Sanzrival was too sweet for me. (I dunno, not really a sweet person). Then the Leche Flan was good enough. I appreciate that it wasn't too sweet. Maybe they could do something to lessen the egg flavor because it has an after taste. Finally, the serving was fine. The waiters are attentive and friendly. Not to mention that they don't have a service charge. The place has good clean ambience too. I will go back to try more from their menu.
