It's meters from the red lighting district but don't allow its neon lighting fool you. Dong Won spells decency, properly, at least in conditions of the meals. We ensure it is a habit to consume here monthly and we have been never disappointed. Theambiance might use some function but if sitting within an older canteen with wood tables do the job then you must have a grand period. I feel as though this place has already been ling forgotten as an excellent spot to eat. You usually only see individuals nearing or above 30 dining right here and the only real ones younger than which are the servers themselves. It's location could be the reason behind that. But if you are ready to sacrifice over-your-shoulder gossip to sample a few of the city's nicest samgyupsal (I possibly could never spell it correct) and their additional offerings (I would recommend the kimchi noodle soup with poultry strips) then you're set for a treat. We celebrated our boss' birthday yesterday evening at Dong Won cafe.We ordered a large casserole since we have been 12persons.We also.purchased beef bulgogi which all of us ate along with lettuce, spicy shrimp along with vegetables.poultry ginsaeng and bibimbob.The meals for me personally was delicious.Nevertheless servers need training since they wereshouting at one another when they want something.The resto.may have placed sort of a doorbell inside the private areas so the servers have the ability to.help us immediately if we nee something.

This resto supplies a wide selection of Korean dishes and ice cream, provides unlimited appetizers and we were told is open a day. For days gone by 7 years we've gone here for supper. In the begining the purchase price and service were regularly good. However in the last year it's been slipping. Yesterday evening was the final straw. We had just experienced October and the foodwas ok but we had to put on with a desk of drunk guys cigarette smoking. Then yesterday evening we have there been with or kid and put our purchase in. Jist because they started bringing away the medial side dishes all 4 of individuals close to us ligjt smoking cigarettes. When I inquired the waitresses if we're able to at the very least be moved to 1 of these private rooms to obtain away from the smoke cigarettes we were informed no and when we didn't just like the smoke we have to leave. We’ve been regular clients of Dong Earned and we have been usually content with every visit - until final Sunday, Dec 10, 2017. The most common food attendants weren’t there. The waiters and waitresses had been brand-new faces - some frowning, some trying very difficult to serve thecustomers (pluses!) We ordered foods and gradually started having problems. 1. I questioned some questions on the menus however the waitress wasn’t as well knowledgeable. Perhaps she had been a trainee - but better teaching is needed in order to interact well with clients. 2. We purchased the crab soup (huge) and unlike our request to create it non spicy, they provided us an extremely spicy soup. We complained - they placed on a fresh liquid soup base - yet it had been still spicy. 3. The fried dumplings were served because the last dish - it will have already been the appetizer rather than the dessert. We'd it wrapped to move and the girl waitress did therefore, returning it to us in a plastic material wrap. The issue - the soy sauce container wasn’t closed properly evoking the liquid to spill over. Kudos though to the only real male waiter in those days who assisted us to displace the wrap and container. I suggest for who owns eating place to assess their present food attendants and make sure that they're properly trained to take care of customers. I anticipate an improved customer experience.

We are unhappy and satisfied with the meals and service they provided. We purchased Beef ramen, Samgyupsal and Sundubu nonetheless it doesn't taste great particularly the ramen it flavor like drinking water with noodles and samgyusal that was served chilly but sundubu was fine.Service has been horrible. Inattentive staff no sense of customer support. NEVER AGAIN!!!

This restaurant may be the real offer. Im not just a fan of Korean meals but this certainly satisfies my appetite each and every time I consume here. Their part dish is plenty of to be your primary course (Significantly! Their macaroni salad may be the one Ialways enquire about). The best is their Bulgogi. The best section of this restaurant they have a meat shop. All you can see on the menu can be purchased on the meat shop. The purchase price can be good. I for just one buys lots of Bulgogi meat. In addition they sell other korean items there. If however you be in Makati, I'd recommend this place!

Visited this resto regarding another time. The meats is good. Unlimited part dish, but aspect dish will vary everytime we check out, the personnel mentioned that this will depend on the option of the the medial side dishes. The resto is open a day, nonetheless it seemsthey are understaffed. Refills along with other requests remember to be served particularly when there are some other clients eating. Only one staff members is serving our desk (band of 15), and she seems actually exhausted heading back and forth to perform our orders, but extremely patient with every demand of refills. Zero exhaust vent in the resto which can make everyone has the aroma of barbeque after eating.
