One of my favorite Chinese Restaurants! I've been here many times and tasted all their congees and dim sum. For congee, I preferred David's Congee and Fish Fillet Congee. For dim sum, I love Hakaw, Chicken Feet and Machang! Other dishes like David's Special Noodles, Lemon Chicken, Spareribs with special sauce in pot and their chopsuey were also good! Lemon Chicken was my favorite from this list. 😊Great customer service as usual!

Note: This review is long overdue.Meetups with old friends is always a wonderful thing, especially over great food. And let's admit that Chinese food almost always is served in sizes that are good for sharing.David's Tea House was our choice after quickly deciding where to eat. Not only was it Chinese New Year, but it was also a fave for my friend's little one and it was a regular place for them to eat at.Honestly, I cannot remember the last time at ate at David's for any branch. Maybe it was even this branch most probably at least 15 years ago. I let my friend take the ropes with ordering, I was okay with Yang Chow and Sweet and Sour Pork. Of course, those are the standard usual classics for anyone in a Chinese resto. There were obviously a few dishes that were ordered, and all were good. Can you imagine a little kid enjoying peas?! That's how I can tell the fried rice was good. Haha! 😁👍💯Food: 3.5 - Really good old fashioned Chinese food.Price: 3.5 - I took a quick glance at the menu, and prices are affordable. Dishes are mainly good for sharing.Service: 5.0 - My friend was obviously a regular. Servers knew what the usual orders would be. Great when a resto knows their loyal customers.Ambience: 2.5 - Old style dimsum tea house interiors.David's Tea House is a classic establishment for many. Cannot go wrong with the classics.

The food is averagely good. Service not so good. My family and I had a hard time waiting for someone to assist out table concerns. It's not the best Chinese dining experience. The place has poor ventilation. I took the extra effort in checking out our table.

I've tried their Yang Chow fried rice, Fried Spring Roll and Fried Dumplings and I must say that their Yang Chow Fried Rice is the bomb!! Relatively cheap price compared to other chinese restos but comparable to the best of the best for sure. Will definitely recommend the Yang Chow fried rice and the Fried spring roll for first timers. Rating it only at 4 stars right now because I still have yet to try some of their other best sellers.

Cheap and tasty Chinese comfort food (dimsum and rice toppings) in the heart of expensive Greenbelt. The flavors are there (MSG!) and I'm not complaining. Ordered sweet and sour pork rice topping (yang chow upgrade), siomai and hagaw. I felt like I was in Binondo! Reminds me of my childhood eating at the now extinct Maxim's Tea House. Sarap!

It seems my hubby & I can't get enough of the white chicken. We ordered for a half chicken, ginger sauce, plain rice, & hot service tea.I'm sorry but I can't help to compare this outlet with the one in Poblacion:White chicken - not as tenderGinger sauce - too much oil Plain rice - not hot Hot tea - bit warm when served. Even the replacement was a bit warm too, we wanted it HOT, of course. Disappointing is an understatement.

Another must-go to Chinese restau when I'm in the Philippines, congee is a favorite, simple yet full of flavor, ginger and garlic taste combined which is very relaxing, strips of mushroom and drizzled by fried wanton skin. Ahhh! Yuuummmm! The patatim was good, tender meat and seasoned with sweet and salty sauce, melt in your mouth experience. For the healthier choices, ampalaya (bitter gourd) with beef was an O.K, we thought it was very bitterly done -- I wish they could cook in a way that the intensity of bitterness is decreased. Fish fillet with tofu and yang chow are my fave too. The rice in itself is a viand, so if your on a budget, put this on the choices as well. Wanting for more congee!!

There's a lack of choices in Greenbelt 1 compared to its other sections. So since we were rushing to watch a play, we ended up having quick and classic Hong Kong/ Chinese cuisine. It's one of the go to types of food that's familiar, affordable and fills you up. Am a fan of vegetables especially sautéed style and their Lo Hon Chai was prepared well. It has crisp textures yet saucy features. I also loved the crunchy touch of its Chinese mushrooms. Also picked the usuals and they didn't disappoint. The Lemon Chicken was sweet and lemony as expected. Its meat quite plump and was very immersed with the sauce. The Beef with Broccoli, a nice balance of soft beef and fresh vegetable. The one I liked most was their Sizzling King Dao Spareribs. It wasn't as fatty and was lean. The sauce was nice combination of sweet, spice and salty features, quite addictive. Best paired with rice. The Mango Sago though was a bad pick. It was too artificial and way too sweet. You have to skip this one.

Food is consistently good and the service rarely slows down even when the branch is full, which happens pretty often. All the soups I've tried are good so far and I have trouble letting go of the Lemon Chicken and Sweet & Sour Pork. Hakaw Shrimp is a dimsum favorite though the congee is so-so; rice with viands have more value for me.
