Had my lunch here today, ordered the lechon kawali rice with tamarind tea as combo plus additional fried egg.The pork was good tho at first I thought it would be tough to chew because of the way it was cooked ,it was toasted but to my surprise it was just like a chicharones nice crunch ,nice condiments that came with it too, love their toyomansi version. The tamarind iced tea was very good it was like a tamarind candy in liquid form tho not too sweet nor sour.My main issue here is the size of the serving and price to serving ratio. For Php200 at they make the rice a bit heftier so I have to order an extra rice for Php40 ,of the same small size.So if the serving is a bit bigger ,or if they provide a heftier rice I can give a much higher score.Staff are friendly and quick so its still above average.

CocoHut is a deviation from the typical restos in Glorietta of mostly international cuisine. The place has that "summer-ry" atmosphere decorated with wood and nipa ceilings and lit well to give you a feeling like you're eating at your favorite resto along the beachServing size was good, i ordered chicken adobo flakes, which is included in their breakfast menu. The chicken was marinated well enough that i did not need to ask for condiments. It was also drizzeled with a generous doze of garlic bits paired with java rice and topped with a fried egg with java rice (yum!) For the great breakfast!Overall, the place and food was good. Would have been a lot better if the staff was more acommodating. Still, I would still comeback to try more of their dishes

cocoNOT! 99 pesos para sa buko shake na walang lasa at ang liit! First and definitely last time ko na kakain dito. Ang tagal ng serving tapos kulang pa yung binigay na order, nahuli pa yung drinks! Yung iced tea na tamarind flavor, tsk...lasang tubig! Everything else is ordinary, mas masarap pa yung lechon kawali sa C.Palanca!

Coco Hut is one of those places where it's really hard to decide whether to try it out or not. The restaurant has a nearly Spartan look which doesn't look inviting. On top of that, it's practically empty even though it was almost lunch when we happened to pass by the area. It caters Filipino cuisine with a twist like kare kare pasta and the likes. I ordered their signature fried chicken, one classic and one spicy. There was a bit of waiting time before the dish was served since it was freshly fried. Both chickens tasted surprisingly good. The classic was a mixture of salt and pepper while the spicy has a distinct siling labuyo taste. Both are crispy although one was smaller size than the other. The meal comes with a cup of rice. Here is where they failed. The rice has a very poor texture highly similar to the NFA variety. Now, it's ok to serve this kind somewhere else but heck, you're inside a mall and the meal costs over a couple of hundred bucks. That's not exactly cheap.Probably won't be returning to this one in the near future.

Ok for a meal if you're alternative is fast food. Tamarind iced tea was refreshing. 1pc chicken meal is a good alternative to Jollibee. Sinigang was good for 3 with quite a lot if liempo bits. Macaroni salad was just ok. Chicken Tocino was sweet but overly dry. Laing needed more coconut.
