Beautiful ambiance, great service and well prepared Spanish food. Love the angulas ala vasca, conchinilla sisig, chorizo, and gambas! Paella was moist but not wet and just perfectly cooked seafood. The beef belly ribs were a little fatty but still, you can see the effort put it in and it was very tender and tasted yummy. Quite expensive but worth it. Good place for dates, special occasions, family and business meetings.

Taste - 4I will say this is an underrated restaurant. Ambient is nice and service is good. Most important, food is super.I love their Foie Gras. The score 4 is definitely for the foie and croquet.Better than Most I have tried, globally. If you need a reference in Manila - better than Champetre. It melts in your mouth. I especially like the taste of the two on the side - it was foie gras in three ways - i like it with a bit of fruity and sweet taste to tone down the richness. the one in the middle is more pate like and too heavy for me.We had the croquette. This is definitely one of the best - a bit hard crusted on the outside and cheesy flowy fillings inside. If only there was a bit of ham or chorizo taste...but guess am just too difficultCheese is good. Even the complimentary bread is good.Gambas - how come this is always tasteless? Even Circulo didn't make it flavourful, or even garlicy.Suckling Pork Rib - the taste of meat is nice, definitely from the good ingredient. However, there's not too much meet and it is a bit oily. Too bony. I like crispy pata from Abe better.Paella Negra - I wont recommend it - too wet. the taste is floating on the outside of the rice, the stock is not fully absorbed. the rice is not cooked to the right texture

Good food. although you pay the price for it. Their Albarino white wine is excellent. Service us ok. Live music 2 guitars and 1 flute on week ends. quite remarquable. Decor is very red. not to everybody taste I guess..

Haven’t been back here in ages and it was nice to be reminded that I actually love this place. Probably not for my everyday lunches or dinners but perfect for specialoccasions or once in a while when we crave for a more formal ambience without the high prices of fine dining.Although some may find it a bit pricey, it’s worth paying for - for the good food coupled with the experience of great service and relaxed dining. Complimentary bread and butter were served while waiting for our orders to arrive (and “refillable” too 😉). The servers change your plates when you move on from your appetizers (i.e. gambas, sisig and angulas, in our case) to the mains (i.e. paella, lengua and callos) and clear the table so you can be ready for your dessert (i.e. bread pudding and I looooved the chocolate lava cake). We were there on a Friday evening and the place was dim but still appropriately lit and musicians including a flutist played throughout most of our dinner. One of our friends was celebrating her birthday, we had brought a cake bought elsewhere and they were very accommodating about it. Firstly, hooray for no corkage for “celebration” cakes! And secondly, they gladly granted our request to hide it first and then bring it out as a surprise together with the rest of the desserts and was even accompanied by the musicians who sang “Happy Birthday.”

Eric celebrated his birthday here last week. I have not been back for some time now. Circulo always had good food. And Circulo didn't disappoint. The cochinillo was perfectly roasted with the right crispness to the skin. The gambas was excellent and the mushroom truffle paella was simply divine. I was disappointed with the slowly cooked beef belly. The meat was tough and didn't have any taste at all. The service was excellent as usual. And the ambience was light and fun.
