For a chocolate lover, this place is a must visit! There are variety of chocolate to choose from - from white, dark, from chocolate slabs, choco dips to salad with chocolates!! I love the ambiance of the store, it is also good that the store is open until midnight. If you wanted to try their chocolates, it must be paired with hot drink, like mine, I ordered house tea. This will cleanse your taste buds and will surely enjoy your chocolates.

It was a gloomy Saturday afternoon when my friend and I decided to have a quick snack in Chocolate Fire. Located right in the heart of Makati Central Business District, this quaint, chocolate haven instantly captured our hearts due to the enormous display of chocolate goodies. I suddenly felt like a little girl waiting for my reward after a busy weekday. :)We tried the Pesto Pasta (P320) which comes with one slice of bread. An option to choose your pasta noodle is available, pick from spaghetti, penne or fettuccine, whatever suits your mood. I find the pesto sauce a bit light and weak, maybe because of the cream that they used together with it. Its on the creamy profile, not my type of pesto pasta. To complement our pasta, we also ordered Mortadella Sandwich (P290), a house favorite with cold cut sausage, emmenthal and mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, sliced olives, sundried tomatoes and romaine lettuce. I liked it! Though, the olives i think can be toned down a bit, it was just too overwhelming for me. After our light meal, we head on to the chocolate bar again. My friend decided to cap off the meal with a slice of Black Forest Cake (P250) as suggested by the crew. The cake is a bit dry for my taste. I ordered Hot Chocolate too, I'm a sucker for hot choco! They serve Hot Chocolate Australian Style, you can choose in cup or mug, since i am a bit full i decided to take a cup. Then, choose your chocolate, milk, dark or white, i had mine dark. Select your add-on from the list, be it caramel, peppermint, spearmint, marshmallows, soy milk, oh what a long list. But boy, this is the best part of the menu i think! :) The Hot Chocolate was so perfect! Light, not to sweet, not over chocolatey, as in P-E-R-F-E-C-T!!!The service crew were friendly and attentive, though i was a bit surprised that they have service charge since you have to line up in the counter to order. The crew will just deliver the orders in your table. I thought it was a casual dining restaurant since we ended up paying around P400 to P450 per head, but with the service architecture it was really fast-casual for me. Anyways, over-all it was just okay. Maybe they can try introducing other dishes with chocolate flair in the future to keep the shop's novelty.

The place suitable for chocoholics! I love their frozen banana and affogato. Their granola and pasta were really good as well.Nice place also to lounge around in the midst of Makati traffic.
