We ordered governor’s salad, cheese and mushroom souffle, seabass as main course and souffle dessert. Very very good! And staff were efficient and respectfull. Love the new interior refurbishing of the Almarios!

We really had a pleasant evening here. The place was really fancy buti nag ayos ako. This is a good choice for special celebrations. We got there a little early when the place was still a little empty so we got to enjoy some quiet before people started coming in. I actually had a special dinner GC that’s how we got to try this place, and what they served us was really delicious. The salad was a little strong but I still liked it. If you are going to eat here, please do not forget to try princess carmen dessert. It’s really heavenly. 💕

It was a sunny Sunday and two intrepid titas – Jen of Sand Under My Feet and myself – are out for brunch. But do note that we are not braving weekend traffic and the after-mass influx of people in the Rockwell area for just any, run-of-the-mill brunch. ⭐Salad ala Governor Vi (P1,200)- Named after Gov. Vilma Santos, as this is her favorite dish. This definitely isn't your ordinary salad. It's made of fresh greens, grilled prawns, seared scallop, smoked salmon, foie gras then drizzles with balsamic dressing and raspberry-honey sauce. MUST TRY! Food and selections are excellent, but I must say that most of the staff are not well-trained. They dont list down your orders - not even verbally repeat all of it once orders are complete - ending up forgetting most and serving incorrect dishes --> and ultimately --> my pet peeve --> prolonged waiting time! Not worth it for the gold price tag. Coming back? Never.

Business meeting became more comfortable and chill when lunch food arrived. Seared Seabass followed by Mango Cheesecake were a perfect combination. Both were meticulously prepared and cooked. Great job, chef J!

My second time here and the food is still superb! I love everything to be honest from the soufflé down to their soup. The taste and ambiance just live up to its reputation. This is definitely a great place for special occassions as their food doesn't disappoint.

We had our Christmas party here last night. The food is good but the service is bad. Our 2k-per-head buffet dinner came with a glass of iced tea so I asked for straws. The waiter came back clutching a bunch of straws in his bare hands and put them directly in our glass. Really? We also waited around 30 minutes for our for the road round because no one knew what we ordered. The food is not worth suffering that kind of service.
