Hey Guys There's a restaurant at Century City Mall Makati that serve Smoked with poached egg, The raw salmon meat are fresh and flavourful. I ordered "Smoked Salmon Bruchetta" the name of the Item specifically on their menu. You must try it. they also served Pita bread with 3 kinds of dips as their complementary. They are so generous and the server are always approachable. Thank You Chaplin.

We ordered the HUMMUS, CHICKEN SHISHLIK, and MOUSSAKA for delivery. All was delivered properly and delicious. First having Israeli cuisine. Another variant of Mediterranean cuisine.

It's been a decade since I went here @makati ave. My favorite is Burger, I must say Chaplin's Burger is one of the best. Tender and Juicy the Bacon is perfectly cooked. I love the melted mozzarella cheese. They deserved a 5 star.

Chaplin Cafe offers a taste of Holy Land cuisine at the very epicenter of Grammercy in Poblacion Makati. This is what good middleastern/mediteranean food is all about, simple, indulgent and totally unpretentious. Now I know why they call it the last supper, If you get the chance to taste what they have to offer youd probably wonder if this is your last meal. To further elaborate and wet your appetite here's what I would recommend if you get the chance to dine here.1.) Deep Fried Cauliflower - At first bite, I kept wondering what is the catch with this dish. Someting this tasty savory cant possibly be a vegetable. The crusty cauliflower just breaks apart and blends with the rich tasty tahini and honey vinaigrette with chili. 2.) Chicken Sashlik - Skewered Chicken breast marinated with secret israeli spice (I was told you have to get concripted to know this secret). Its very tasty, tender, juicy and moist despite being all breast.3.) Lamb Boureka - Its traditional flaky and buttery (its sinfully greasy) Israeli puff pastry stuffed with and ground beef soaked in lamb fat (I am not pulling your leg this is an actual thing), dashed with cilantro and parsley. The coroner will have a hard time ruling out if its the puff pastry or the lamb fat that got me, this is pure indulgence.4.) Pizza Boureka - Its the flaky and buttery traditional Israeli bread topped gloriously with pomodoro, feta and mozzarella cheese, oregan and olives. What I like about this dish is the contrast between the texture of the buttery puffed crust and the sour, creamy and salty essence of the 2 types of cheese and pomodoro. I love how all the separate consistencies collapse into a harmony of satisfying textures and flavors with every bite. With this surreal and extraordinary dining experienceChaplin Cafe has cracked my top 3 list of middleastern restaurants.

Loved everything about Chaplin Cafe! The place was quiet when we went there but the ambience was relaxed and comfortable, and the amount of serving was enough to keep us full. Totally worth the price! PHP 255 - Shakshouka Pizza: Open laffa bread with two poached eggs, shakshouka sauce, mozzarella, parsley & cilantro. PHP 395 - Schnitzel: 200g deep fried herby breaded chicken breast. Served with roasted red bell pepper sauce & creamy mashed potato.PHP 470 - Moussaka: Mediterranean lasagna layered with zucchini, potato, eggplant, tomato sauce & Greek béchamel sauce. I highly recommend this one!PHP 175 - Chaplin’s Ice Tea: Hand shaken crashed ginger, cinnamon stick, orange slice honey & fresh mint. This drink was very refreshing.PHP 185 - Mango Fruit Shake

First time i dine here now. The food is good, it's very quite here. Nice n cozy ambiance, they play chaplin film to entertain customers. But the Turkish coffee here not as i expected, it not as muddy as it supposed n lack of spices smell inside it.

My Grandmother (Father's side) works in Israel and is now married to an Israeli always tells me that Israeli food is the best she ever had (she betrayed her love for Filipino food) so, I decided to try this restaurant so that I can tell her that, finally! She can have a taste of home even if she is here in Manila.Ambiance - 5.0/5.0The ambiance for me speaks a lot. Aside from them entertaining guests with Charlie Chaplin movies also, the interiors sets a mood and at the same time, I love how it is hidden from the noise of the mall. Service - 5.0/5.0Aside from being prim and proper, the servers are really polite and attentive. Also, the owner and chef, Mr. Guy is really kind enough to answer questions, especially if it is about Israel or what inspired them to bring or introduce Israeli cuisine here.Food - 5.0/5.0I do not expect to have a taste of healthy food choices in Makati at their price point! So, really worth the steal. Also, I love how flexible their menu is 'coz they do not only serve Israeli food. They also serve Mediterranean food.Deep Fried Cauliflower - I am not a fan of Cauliflowers ('coz Broccoli is life-r) BUT this dish made me embrace Cauliflowers and I am now officially a Cauliflower addict. However, what I love about this dish is the crispness of the Cauliflower and at the same time, the generous spices and flavors they put into it.Lamb Hummus - I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS! Plus the bread. The bread is actually good with or without the hummus. But, going back... the hummus is really generous with Lamb and Cilantro also.Chicken Shishlik - The Chicken is crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside while the spices are rich enough to make you crave for more even if you are full already. The Majadra (rice) is also flavorful.Lamb Kebab - This is my second time to eat Lamb after the trauma I had and after eating the meat, I totally forgot my reason why I do not like Lamb in general. However, make sure to consume it while its hot.Lava Cake - I think, this is one of the best ones I had. The Chocolate Cake is not sweet at all even the filling inside BUT if you combine it with the ice cream, it is simply the bomb! Will definitely be back to try more of their offerings.
