I love everything about the place. Fancy but not overwhelming. Variety of food and drinks. It’s amazingly good. A good place to dine or chill with friends or if you just simply wants to relax on your own.

Coffee was good. But terrible, terrible service. Wait staff are doing their best to ignore customers calling them. My boyfriend had to go to the counter to order since no one is taking notice of our call. And we asked them to warm the apple pie we ordered but it was sent to us, cold and very far from being warm lol. Pretentious coffee shop with pretentious baristas. Too bad, I loooooved their mocha pa naman. :/

Ordered their jamon serrano & shitake mushroom omelette and chorizo bites tapas. My comment on their food is it really is good and of course their coffee because its yardstick, for the ambience it is very cozy good for solos and dining in with friends too, but for their service I agree with other comments/ reviews that I have read in various social media sites like facebook, they really have bad service. When you come in they don’t care, and when I ordered and handed my credit card out, after the cashier swiped it she didn’t hand it over but just slightly throw it making it slide on the counter table. Also when I said no salt on my omelette she made a face but overall food and quality is really good. Just bad service.

It has been a while since we shared about our EATStaycation at the Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences. If you read about it, thank you. If you haven’t, please do. Hehe. Anyway, during that weekend we discovered good restaurants that we highly recommend, especially if you are in the Makati area. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing about Cartel Coffee and Deli at The Picasso Makati. What do they have to offer? Keep on reading to find out! Enjoy! 🙂

My daily coffee for the past week...of course it's good, it's Cartel! Flat White always. The food is also good but I usually just go for coffee

Always a good experience at Cartel Deli, starting with their door attendant who’s always cheerful. The cafe has a nice interior, though their chairs aren’t very comfy, maybe as intended to.Place has a good selection of food and drinks, and diners may cross order from Pablo (sister restaurant beside Cartel Deli) if they wish.

SUPER CUTE PLACE. I can't wait to go back and try their meals, we already had dinner when we went here so we just had drinks to end the night. We tried the Hot Chocolate and the Iced White. I liked both. They are both flavorful and the sugar level was just right, not too sweet, just the way I like it ✨

Ordered their Italian sandwich — the worst sandwich i have ever tried. The ham was like rubber consistency.. did not taste like anything and just bland! Their Caesar salad was good though.. what was weird for me is that Cartel is a deli / resto. When you want to eat something inside the restaurant from their deli grocery, you need to pay additional 150! Doesn’t make any sense. Seriously.. The ambiance is cozy.. but their chairs are uncomfortable. No back support. I hate those kinda of chairs. Will never go back.
