This was the first Via Mare restaurant that we visited. Our balikbayan realatives really had a blast, however my mom had a terrible case of vomiting and diarrhea after eating their puto bumbong. This was a day before her flight back to the UK.She was the only one who ate it, and was the only one who got sick.We never got the chance to guve feedback to the management, as she had herself checked and was positive for food poisoning :(Their food is good, maybe this was just a bad case for her.

Last time I’ve been here, it was fully booked and luckily the last two seats were available when we arrived. Next to us were looking for 11 seats so great for us that we immediately sat and didn’t need to wait. Their service is a little slow maybe because they lack staff but food is still served with quality. We always come back for their Pancit Luglog, Pork Binagoongan, Puto Bumbong and Bibingka.

We tried to have brunch yesterday but arrived earlier than their usual opening time. The waiter was attending to a customer who ordered a take out item. He made my father wait for a good five minutes, standing behind them like an idiot instead of acknowledging his presence or asking a colleague to assist us with our inquiry. When we asked the waiter if they were open, he replied that they would be at 11 30. It was 8 MINUTES to opening time and instead of just saying they were closed - he pointed to the time on their computer and said that according to THEIR time - we would have to wait. Even fast food joints let their customers sit down?? The waiter could have just said they weren't open instead of pointing to their computer and proclaiming that we were too early?? I'm never eating at any branch of Via Mare again thanks to your staff. Nice job on pointing out that your computers work and that we can only eat according to YOUR time and convenience.

Classic Filipino food! No twist, just straight up and good!😋This time we had the crispy adobo flakes (ok tasting but expensive), tortang alimasag (I did taste a little bit but it was my partner who liked it, simot!), pritong tilapia (yum!), and of course, their bibingka (love the queso)!😃

When you crave for good old fashioned Filipino food, this is probably the best place to be. You'll definitely satisfy your palate with comfort food cooked just the way you remember it. Where else can you find puto bumbong all year round? You can enjoy that here any time of the day. Our frequent puto bumbong craving probably is the main reason we keep coming back here. It's a great venue for gatherings with the family or even afternoon tea or merienda with friends. The interior has minimalist, uncluttered, sophisticated design. The branch is quite small but the big windows and mirrors give the illusion of a bigger space. Expect also the crowd to be a bit loud since most come here in groups. The staff were really attentive and efficient.

It was my first to try Via Mare at their Rockwell branch. Our friends ordered Crispy Pata, Oysters Combination, Pinalutong na Tilapia and Puto Bumbong. This was my first time to eat a Crispy pata which was as crispy as a very crispy fried Chicken. I don't know how they did it but everyone from our table was digging that. It was also one of the juiciest and tastiest we've ever had! Topped with Oysters and Tilapia just satisfied our cravings for that night. Via mare will be a go to restaurant for me and my family whenever we go to Rockwell. Ohhh I almost forgot their Puto Bumbong is spot on!

Truly one of the country's pride in serving classic Filipino dishes. We only opted to have bibingka (the best!) and puto bumbong for merienda, but we couldn't pass on the menu and ended up ordering for more. The Tuyo Fried Rice was amazing. The best fried rice I had in recent memory. It was served super hot and the tuyo bits were flourishing and really tasty. I had to pour vinegar on top of it. So good!As to the Dinuguan, it was another highlight. You could taste the lemongrass/gingery taste which gave it a different kick. The sauce was to die for! The pork cuts were aplenty and thank god it wasn't all fat.The Fresh Lumpia Ubod was generally ok. Filling was generous and the sauce made it more special.Overall, nothing can go wrong when you dine at Via Mare. Only the best dining experience you would expect.

Their service is like the ending of Titanic, its just sad. Ordered oysters and when we followed up our order the waiter merely said "Ay hindi po ba kayo nainform, wala na po yung oyster nyo sayang hindi nakaabot", hilarious to be perfectly honest hence the 2.
