Had lunch time here with former co-workers while on christmas. Their recommendation was excellent because I got eventually to try a excellent dish - my initial proper flavor of Filipino cuisine in the beginning of my holiday. Program wasn't as effective as one would expectbut it had been rather busy that day time.

Mom loves this here. Great Filipino merienda choices like the panic palabok, lugaw and bibingka. There is also Filipino breakfast favorites such as for example Tapa.

Last Via Mare We visited was the main one in Greenbelt 3. The meals was good however, not memorable. I'm pleased to record that the newer go to to Cafe Via Mare in the Powerplant Mall has been more memorable. We had been a celebration of six andso we purchased several dishes such as for example kare-kare, tocino, tuyo fried rice, crispy tapa, oysters mixture, lumpia ubod, rellenong talong. For dessert, halo halo, halo halo shooters, guinataang halo halo, puto bumbong. The best savory dish had been tuyo fried rice which experienced the proper amount of tuyo compared to the rice. Rice had not been greasy at all and I love that about anything fried...because it's fried doesn't mean it must be swimming in essential oil. Favorite sweet dish...We liked all of them. Excellent meal and superb services...can't beat that!

Via Mare is definitely regarded as a very classy, top quality restaurant, however the cafe is pretty right down to earth. The meals, like always, was excellent. We had the poultry and pork adobo, and the satisfy on the pork has been so tender itfelt enjoy it had been melting on your own mouth!! Service has been prompt, and the purchase price has been surprisingly affordable, given the meal and the grade of taste of the meals. my pal also swears with their desserts, but we didn't have to be able to attempt them because we'd to keep for another conference, but, definitely, the area could have a slot in my own logbook of areas to return to.

The Oyster Rockefeller is really a Via Mare legacy for many years. Another special nostalgic fare may be the sunlight dried crispy tapa offered with sunny side upward eggs. Popular Filipino snack foods are usually winners anytime, Pansit Lug log, Dinuguan, Bibingka, Laswa. Each one of these local delicasies are excellent choicesfor brinches or foods,
