This happened early this year. While we were eating I saw a small cockroach on our table so we inform the staff and she went to our table and it was still there. She immediately grabbed the roach with her bare hand and went to the kitchen. I was shocked! She went back to us and apologized. Hopefully she washed her hands 😔The manager also apologized, she was really sorry and said it has been their problem but they have been doing some sanitation something (forgot exactly what she said). I really hope theyll be able to solve their sanitation issue. The food was ok but I like that they have lechon. Also, food variety is limited.

My mom and I had our late lunch because of my doctor's appointment. We've decided to go to Cabalen and they actually improved from my last visit 😊Kare Kare- was indeed one of my favorite dishesPork Sisig- improved a lot and it's crispy and tastyBangus Sisig-my mom loved this. Prichon- was crispy and hot. I suggest you mixand match your sauceTapa- the only thing that I did not like. It was too sour for meGinataang Mais, Biko and Fruit Jelly- super yummy Not bad for a quick fix. The staff was also friendly and accommodating.

We usually go here for occasions because this is the very affordable of all the eating all you can buffet. Kare-kare is good, but some of the foods taste bland. They do not have a wide variety of food choices. Very limited. Their buffet tables are not refilled quickly. This is not my first option but will visit again because I love Filipino dishes a lot!

Been here two months ago, food is not so good. Everything is very oily. There's always no food in the in the table. I think its not worth the price. on the good side the staff are nice and place is clean.

We went to Ayala Musuem and indulged in Filipino's rich culture. I didn't know if we're feeling patriotic that time that we decided to dine in this resto, as they are offering Filipino food. But I bet I was just so hungry. 😄. I like Kare-Kare and I need to try Cabalen because it's what they're famous for. The bottomless iced tea costs 60pesos which is not included in the buffet price. You'll be surprised that vat was not included in the price so prepare to pay P330+iced tea P60= 390pesos ACTUAL PRICE. (I'll go to Yakimix or Dad's anytime than Cabalen.) Well, the price is quite cheap so manage your expectations. There's lechon and a lot of Filipino favorites. 👍 So sulit naman kahit pano. I liked bilo-bilo, fried kangkong, sisig and the salad bar. I just notice that some food are not so fresh and looked stale. So no thanks, once is enough. I will not definitely go back.
