I've read a lot of bad reviews and all of us in the group bought a Metro Deal voucher so I was expecting the worst but I must say I loved dining here (more so than The Alley and Vikings).Things I loved:- It's not that crowded. Upon opening, there were probably less than 25 people (including the walk ins). People were constantly streaming in though. Not really related, but just want to share that the customers that day were shy. It took around 10 minutes before other people started getting food (as for me, I broke the ice and managed to fill two plates before people finally started checking out the buffet LMAOOO). It felt weird to me because on other places that I've been at, people rush to get food after they are escorted to their tables. - The food. Their carving station isn't very exciting, but they have other meat options that I liked. I would stay away from the porks in all sorts of sweet sauces, I mean they're okay but the saltier/savory ones are better. Their fried fish in batter (there were two kinds) was also great too. They also have white chicken! And ginger sauce!!!- Other foods that I liked were: french fries, seafood chowder, pizza, salmon, tuna salad- As for the drinks: HOT MILO! I had it twice. They only have one beer here and it isn't strong (it's almost like drinking Cali). I'm sure I drank at least 500ml of Pepsi Max. The milk shakes were nice (although I wish they have vanilla milkshake), but it takes too long to freeze. When we came in, they were still freezing and I think it was around 12:30 when the drinks were ready. I've managed to try melon and taro, but everyone seems to want the avocado because it ran out fast. They refilled it but I know we would be out of Buffet101 by the time it's ready. I also had flower tea for kicks (I don't know what I'm doing and I just put in a bunch of flowers, but my slow self  didn't notice there were instructions and descriptions above it)- Service is great. Since we were paying a discounted price, I was expecting for us to get treated like second class customers lol, but they were helpful and courteous all through outThings that they could improve on:- Tissues. I hope they'll have tissues on the table.- Desserts. Their crepe and banoffee pie was okay, but the other ones I tried were forgettable- Choices. I liked all the foods I've tried (I have simple tastesbuds, I usually just want meat and lots of drinks) but I could see why people say that the choices are limitedIf only all their branches aren't so out of they way I would have love to come here more often.

Salad Station - Let’s start off with the lighter options, which, even if already a meal to others, I would like to call appetizers. Crunchy lettuces, tomatoes, bacons, croutons, heavenly dressings — and more. Buffet 101’s salad station is a stop you must make, even if you take only a spoonful or two.Sushi Bar/Japanese Stn - Sushi is never absent in any buffet restaurant, and if missing at all, the experience will be incomplete. Along with the perfectly wrapped sushi and fresh sashimi, there are also our classic faves Tempura and Tonkatsu.Main Entrees - Soup, noodles, vegetables, classic & modern recipes of meat, chicken, and seafood, pizza, and many more. Here goes a gastronomical journey to Asian and European Cuisine — and I’ve never liked a Main Entree table as much as I liked Buffet 101’s. I especially loved the fried shrimps/crabs in garlic and chili!Meat Station - Lamb, Beef, Pork, or Chicken? Whatever it may be, you can have it cooked the way you like — rare, medium, or well done, it’s your thing. Add your choice of sauce and a side. Buffet 101’s friendly staff will happily attend to you.Seafood Station - Although there are lots of seafood on the main entree table, there’s still more at the seafood station! Back then, they used to offer crabs, shrimps, and scallops here. Now it’s just more of fish and shellfish. Dim Sum & Noodle Station - Tons of food to choose from, huh? If you are a Dim Sum lover, here’s the station for you. There are so many wrapped delights available so why not get yourself acquainted to each of ’em? You can also ask the chef to whip a noodle soup of your preference. Drinks Station - Of course it will make you feel full. But you can always have a sip between bites, you know! Especially since Buffet 101’s drink choices are insane — fruit shakes, juices, sodas, coffee, tea, come on!Desserts Station - After all the wonderful eating, you can still have Buffet 101’s desserts! From various ice cream flavors, colorful candy and chocolate toppings, pastries, cakes (read: cheesecakes!), halo-halo, and even a crepe station! I seriously could live in there! The price for all those beautiful, delicious, delectable stops? Less than a thousand Philippine Pesos. You know what that means? You can have it every month! :D

This is my second time eating at buffet 101 in Glorietta with my family and we all find it worth the price, especially with the MetroDeal discount. There were quite a lot of rude employees but the nicer ones made up for it and so did the food 😁 The batch I got of Ebi tempura had a nice light batter, the meats and side dishes were good and surprisingly, the banoffee tart and jap-style cheesecake was really good. I usually don’t like buffet desserts but these were pretty great for buffet standards. I probably only ate 2 things that tasted bad/off and the salmon sashimi was a disappointment. The people working at that station were snobs too. 😕 Overall good experience. Definitely coming back!
