Bucky's was born in the busy website haven of the South, Aguirre Avenue in BF Homes, Parañaque and has since closed shop and opened a more accessible (at least to budget travellers and Makati residents) location in Poblacion, Makati.Sad to see Bucky's let go of The BF branch because i think they have a more polished, clean and streamlined look there compared to the very narrow and limited seating capacity of this Poblacion rebirth. Since we just came from a heavy Med dinner, we had a couple of desserts to cool us off.We had the following to try:Parfait - creamy Carabao's milk made soft serve ice cream with chopped up bucky's, Chocolate chips and thick Caramel sauce. This is a good Solo dessert if your feeling a bit scroogy and do not want to share. The smooth and creamy soft serve has a delicious heavy vanilla taste. The Carabao's milk is a Great come on for tourists to try.BuckyGato - affogato, bucky's style. The delicious bucky's Brownies makes this a perfect partner. The strong Coffee and the cold ice cream marries in a deliciously strong wake me upper. We also tried Stanford Ginger Ale, which I've tried before in a morning market fair BF a few years ago. Still the great flavor Ginger Ale i have come known to love.Staff was friendly and attentive during our stay.Located right beside Z Hostel, Bucky's is a small dessert place. To my surprise, also serves full Meals, if ever your hankering something tasty during your quick Office lunch break. Parking is extremely difficult, but available on the curb side. I suggest, parking at A Venue and walk your way back to this side of Poblacion where the Hip and happening establishments are. A good 10 minute walk would do you good before or after dining in a couple of places. Recommended.Disclaimer: Sponsored dining by Bucky's x BigDish PH.

Baked ziti was good but too cheesy that I couldn't finish it on my own. Also got to try their parfait and the ice cream was superb! The place was too dark though and the tables few and too close to each other. Would have enjoyed more if the space was bigger and had better lighting.

I've known Bucky's since Toby's Estate was established but, the good thing is now they have a branch in Makati and they serve heavy meals now.Ambiance - 4.0/5.0I love how they jumped from having a minimalist Black and White interiors to interiors that will suit Poblacion. Also, every corner is clean and well lit. I felt so comfortable during my stay.Service - 3.5/5.0There was nothing special with the service but the staff are really accommodating and they make sure that I will enjoy my entire stay.Food - 3.5/5.0I love chicken so much that is why I ordered Bucky's Homemade Chicken. The serving will not disappoint you. The serving of the chicken will satisfy your hunger but, affordability wise, it is not "sulit". The mashed potato's serving is really small. So, if you are looking for a sumptuous meal with big servings of rice, Bucky's is not the place for you. But! If you are more of a meat person, Bucky's is the right place for you.

Even though the place is small, the foods and desserts taste delicious. I would love to go for second serving. Price for each food/ dessert are worth it

Was already a fan of their brownies from the pop-up store they have in Rockwell. Finally had my chance to dine in and try their other products. Cheese Fries - twister fries with melted mozzarella and Bucky’s special sauce. Its basically crispy twister fries drench in big Mac sauce with melted mozzarella!! This a great way start a meal Bucky’s Fried Chicken - 2 large portions of boneless golden deep fried chicken thighs. I love how the breading is not too much and you can still feel the actual texture of the skin thats really crispy, it comes with a side of mashed potato and i believe the purple thing was sauerkraut with beetroot, which i think lacks acidity and flavor. Also had a milk soft serve, probably one of the best i had in the metro.

After watching Black Panther in PowerPlant, while walking back home I suddenly craved for coffee so me and my boyfriend went here to have a quick coffee run. I ordered Latte which is amazing, it has the right level of acidity. I would love to try any of their buckys next time and probably stay here for a while since when we went here they're about to close already.

Small resto with good food and great service!Coffee and starters were very good. We had Mozza Nugs, Crispy Fries and Beet Salad. the first two were tasty and perfect complement to the beverages.Fried Chicken is a good main dish here. Swedish Meatballs with Angus beef was ok.Good desserts here. Bucky's brownies topped with soft serve ice cream and choices of toppings

It’s my second time in Bucky’s but on our 1st visit, we only had dessert. I wanted to come back sooner to try the mains but our second attempt was on a Monday and didn’t know they are closed every Monday (take note! 😉) . So finally, the 3rd attempt was a success and we were able to try several dishes.I’ve heard a lot of good reviews about the Baked Ziti with Ragu so that was definitely a must-order and it did not disappoint! If you have other orders then the Ziti is good for sharing, otherwise the dishes are good for 1. Next is the Grilled Cheese and I like how it’s “thin” and not overstuffed like others I’ve tried and it makes it easier to dunk in the tomato soup it came with, perfect combo! Last dish was the “Mom’s Meatloaf” which was also wiped out by us (but would have been better served with rice 😆). All dishes were presentable and, against their black table as seen in my photos, were very photogenic. No filter needed!Oh and lastly, of course I had to have dessert and ordered their version of the affogato with their soft serve ice cream made from fresh carabao’s milk, salted caramel sauce and their Original Bucky with a shot of espresso, really good but a bit steep for ₱220 since it was a small serving.I gave a 4 out of 5 stars because there was no parking, a common “problem” in Poblacion. Knowing this, we went on a weekday at around 4pm and we were able to park right in front, the guard just moved the sign, still street parking though. We will definitely be back for more of the Baked Ziti with Ragu and try the other dishes. I have attached the complete menu for reference / prices.

Buckys has a small space but great industrial interiors. The service is nice and prices are a bit expensive. I ordered their Original Parfait and it tasted amazing. There were nuts, marshmallows, and chocolates for toppings. It was very interesting to eat as there were new ingredients that can be tasted and even til the last bite you still tasted something new

tried this restaurant today with a couple of friends. **they already know and love this place since they're from this area! the soft served ice cream was tasty, thick, and not so sweet, which is a good thing! we also went for the mozza nugs (basically mozzarella sticks) and the cheeeeese was so gooey i loved it. tastes very nice! and the sauce was okay, too. i feel like this place is likely to be jampacked during the evening. the place is relatively small and tight, the ambiance was okay. other than that, the service was so-so. it isn't the type of restaurant i'd go back for again and again, but overall it was a good experience. i'll probably try the other stuff in their dessert menu, soon. :)
