The best outdoor dining available in the metro so far. Huge area with lots of fans. Great ambience. Great service. Good wine selection. Wine tasted a little stale though. Seems storage can be improved. Great quality. Good taste. Good dessert. Great espresso. Water is citrussy. Difficult to find anything negative. Perhaps a bit too hot in manila weather? A very little price to pay for great outdoor lunching and dining. Everything was superb from chips, octopus, bread, burratta, pizza, ribeye, prawns. The whole experience was memorable from easy parking to face mask/shield pouches.

Considering the price of the menu items, you would think they would have complimentary celebratory dessert, but instead they just write the message on their overpriced dessert plates. Scotch egg dish was good though it wasn’t actually indicated that they were quail eggs. Waiters also didn’t inform us about eating everything which we thought was just garnish. Steak was tasty but quite small. Not anything spectacular. The mushroom pizza was totally worth the price. Probably the only thing I’d go back for. The tropical drink was 90% fruit and ice. Couldn’t taste any alcohol—just sour fruit juice. I’ve read that staff can be snooty. The waiters were alright—no one really spoke to us aside from taking our order, but I can see why some say that. If anything, paying how much we paid—regardless if they recognize you or not—all staff should be extra friendly if anything, to their overpaying customers.

This place is really nice , great service the staff is well trained . Has a good ambiance ! However I was not impressed by the food . It was average to my taste .

We spent our Valentine's date here at Blackbird. We opted to dine in the garden area. We were given the option to split our orders into 2 plates which is a great idea especially we only had a small table. We tried the Vietnamese sweet shrimp and chicken salad, (split into 2 plates). Taste good, love the sweetness and sourness from the vinegar, could drink it straight!We got 2 mains for sharing, Blackbird's seafood spaghetti, and Jack's creek wagyu cube roll. Seafood spaghetti is delicious. Had a bit of spice which I like. We ask the steak to be cooked in a medium. Best steak we've tried so far!! Also, the fries look simple but are also really good. :) We got Burnt butter and vanilla sundae and Vanilla panna cotta. I thought the panna cotta was going to be a little bigger though, but nonetheless still good together with the blackcurrant sorbet. Love the vanilla sundae!! Combine with all great stuff I like in a dessert. We paired our desserts with coffee as our usual. Another great thing about this place is the customer service. They gave me a stool for my bag and face shield. They also gave me a mosquito spray since I was wearing a skirt and I think I might be scratching my legs a lot hahaha.

This is by far one of the best restaurants in Makati for me. It never disappoints!I go here usually mostly every week with my man because we love the ambiance, the white table clothes, cocktails and of course, the food. There are a lot of places that looks a bit high scaled with pretentious prices that are not worth the food. But Blackbird isn’t that! We usually order the Proscuitto Pizza(to share) then we either get separate Tuna Steak(cos it’s delly and we cannot afford to share 😝) or I order the Pad thai( if I’m feeling more asian ) and try some dishes from the people’s palace. Blackbird dates helped me and my guy during the Pandemic. And they really followed the protocols well but without being too pushy. I love blackbird♥️

You can add this aviation-themed fine dining restaurant to your list of romantic dating spots — may it be for anniversaries, Valentine’s day, if you just feel like having a nice evening with your SO, or a family dine out. It is highly recommended to check their website first for menu (although they presented a different set when we got there 😢) and restaurant layout if you are particular with your seat then book a reservation one week ahead. Expect a heavy traffic in the area especially on a Friday night We had lamb chops with potato masala, wagyu hanger steak with thrice cooked chips, cannelloni, and italian sausage pizza. If you are into Indian spices, I recommend the lamb chops platter and it’s a good dish if you are really hungry because the serving size will satisfy your suffered-from-the-heavy-traffic tummy. For the wagyu steak, it’s really tender but typical of a steak. You would think that the thrice-cooked chips are ordinary but I think that’s the most flavorful fried potato I ever had. The cannelloni has a very heavy taste from the porcini but it goes well with the cream and spinach. I already forgot the taste of the pizza because I only had one as my tummy could not carry them any longer 😅 The staff are really nice and prompt!

Opened the year with a dinner in Blackbird. It is commonly categorized a date night spot with its romantic and elegant setting. The aviation theme is derived from Nielson Tower as it used to be the Manila International Air Terminal during the early days. They serve a top-notch menu combining asian and european food. Service is also apt that you actually get what you pay for. We went for pizza, pasta, steak, desserts and it exceeded my expectations.

All I can say is, what an amazing place!!I booked this place one month before our anniversary and they were very accomodating thru the phone and mentioned the guidelines during quarantine, and stuff like that.On the day itself we were running a bit late and called ahead and they didn't mind and moved our reservation 30mins late. There were only a few people eating at the time because it's a Monday evening.We ordered the Mushroom Capuccino, Tartufata Panini, which tasted really great! The truffle was not too powerful to overwhelm the mushroom and they blended together really well.Lobster, sweet shrimp, fennel, chili, and tomato spaghetti. The lobster was really meaty and juicy and the flavors really mixed in well and tasted like a rich seafood pasta.SRF Wagyu Hanger steak, Mustard and Tarragon Dressed fine beans, Thrice cooked chips and Bearnaise sauce. This is one of their best sellers and I ordered mine medium-rare. The knife easily slices through the Wagyu meat, the sauces perfectly compliment the meat as well. The fries that comes with it was really good too.The ambience of the place was real nice, it was very modern of black and white color scheme which is real clean.
