We spent our Valentine's date here at Blackbird. We opted to dine in the garden area. We were given the option to split our orders into 2 plates which is a great idea especially we only had a small table. We tried the Vietnamese sweet shrimp and chicken salad, (split into 2 plates). Taste good, love the sweetness and sourness from the vinegar, could drink it straight!We got 2 mains for sharing, Blackbird's seafood spaghetti, and Jack's creek wagyu cube roll. Seafood spaghetti is delicious. Had a bit of spice which I like. We ask the steak to be cooked in a medium. Best steak we've tried so far!! Also, the fries look simple but are also really good. :) We got Burnt butter and vanilla sundae and Vanilla panna cotta. I thought the panna cotta was going to be a little bigger though, but nonetheless still good together with the blackcurrant sorbet. Love the vanilla sundae!! Combine with all great stuff I like in a dessert. We paired our desserts with coffee as our usual. Another great thing about this place is the customer service. They gave me a stool for my bag and face shield. They also gave me a mosquito spray since I was wearing a skirt and I think I might be scratching my legs a lot hahaha.

This is by far one of the best restaurants in Makati for me. It never disappoints!I go here usually mostly every week with my man because we love the ambiance, the white table clothes, cocktails and of course, the food. There are a lot of places that looks a bit high scaled with pretentious prices that are not worth the food. But Blackbird isn’t that! We usually order the Proscuitto Pizza(to share) then we either get separate Tuna Steak(cos it’s delly and we cannot afford to share 😝) or I order the Pad thai( if I’m feeling more asian ) and try some dishes from the people’s palace. Blackbird dates helped me and my guy during the Pandemic. And they really followed the protocols well but without being too pushy. I love blackbird♥️
