It was my first time trying this out yesterday, so I ordered some tteokbokki and yangnyum chicken to satisfy my korean cravings. The delivery was fast and the food came in hot. I loved the yangnyum since the balance of sweetness and savory flavor was spot on, though the tteokbokki didn't wow me as much since I have been to Korea and in comparison to the tteokbokki there, I preferred the one from Korea more. Their price is just right for the amount of serving they provide and I actually appreciate that.

Awesome dining experience! Ordered yang nyum chicken and Hae Jang Guk. Big Mama is known for their Korean chicken. We ordered the most favorite spicy yang nyum chicken, half and leg part only. It was so good! Then, we also tried Hae Jang Guk, a spicy pork rib stew. It comes with a rice. They also served delicious side dishes like kimchi, potato, radish, rolled egg, and leafy veggies. The staffs were very nice, polite and accommodating. This restaurant does not ask for service charge. You’ll just pay the amount of food you ate.

I love big mama so much. Their food is delicious and the servings are huge. Specially love their fried chicken, odeng tang, tteokbokki and they have the best kimchi sidedish (kimchi palang ulam na)

Dish:1. Yang Nyum fried chicken : 3.5/52. Bulgogi Kimbab : 3/51. The chicken was cooked well and was still crunchy even though it was covered in sauce. I was not into the taste as much, reminded me of a ketchupy taste & slightly spicey . I'd try the soy sauce instead next time. 2. The kimbab was good portion size but the main issue was the rice. Was way too dry for me, you could tell it was old rice.

Rating is 5 stars because I am in love with this place. They serve good korean food until 4:30AM. The service is quick and kind. Big Mama is our go-to “let’s eat at 2AM” decision. Pro tip: Order the Korean Fried Chicken as a 2-piece set and have the chiclen chopped. Ask for a side salad for free too. There! It’s good for two.Another Pro Tip: If you prefere cold tea over water, you can always ask for complimentary tea.

Best Korean Fried Chicken in Manila! Tasted like what I usually get when I was living in South Korea. I would definitely recommend their soy chicken. They accept credit card which is perfect for tourist!

If you're willing to shell out some cash to have good food then this is the perfect place. There's A seperate room wherein you can stay with a large group to enjoy yoir tome and i absolutely enjoyed the food.

This resto was introduced to me by a friend from college who is fond of eating korean fried chicken. This is the first resto that I have tasted korean fried chicken. I really comes well with beer and soju. I enjoyed eating and drinking here. We go back from time to time when we crave. There's a lot of new kfc resto in Pob. that also serve different flavors. We've been trying everything.

As an individual who loves authentic Korean food, I was quite disappointed with the foods I tried here in Big Mama Poblacion branch. My friends and I tried its special fried chicken, bibimbap, jokbal, kimbap and the like, but we were left disappointed. The jokbal was bland and so are the rest. The chicken was nothing extraordinary. I would definitely say that you should think twice before you spend some bucks here. If you are looking for the authentic taste of Korean cuisine, unfortunately, this is not the best place for you.

After a night out with friends, we all wanted to eat something sweet and spicy so we ended up at Big Mama's. One of the original restaurants here in Poblacion, the first thing you'll notice is that there are mostly koreans in the vicinity and maybe a few filipinos. Their menu is pretty straight forward, so we had our go to order the 1 dozen pcs of yang yum chicken. And then a set order of the kimchi chigae. The chicken was served hot and crispy and was drenched in a sweet spicy sauce, it was perfect for after drinks.
