Whenever we go out, we usually want to try restos we haven't eaten before. I came across Benny's when searching through website. Feedbacks are good so we gave it a go. We were there around lunch time on a Sunday and we were immediately greeted and offered a seat. We ordered for shrimp okoy, kare kare, and grilled tuna belly. Shrimp okoy tastes great and we love it! There''s 5 small pieces per order. It's a kind of shrimp okoy we want. Kare kare is also good. The color is just too orangey for me but tastes good as well.Grilled tuna belly tastes a little salty for me but was cooked fine. Got thrilled as well when i saw that they offer guyabano shake. It's been a while when i last drink it and i was not dissapointed i wish the glass is larger (because i really liked it!)....Will defintely go back and would like to try their merienda oofers like bibingka, palitaw, etc

Had our dinner at this place last Thursday. For 3 pax, our meal was comprised of 4 cups of rice, 3 pcs of lumpiang ubod, a bowl of bangus belly sinigang, chopped crispy pata and a can of coke totaling to Php1,900++ (inclusive of service charge). While the food tasted above-average, for me it’s quite pricey. Plating is nice, utensils meet expectations, serving time’s reasonable. For a restaurant located in a popular shopping/dining district, it can do better than the standard dining transactions. Such price can create a better dining experience.

So this is supposedly the modern incarnation of Yum Yum Tree, but it's gone quite a long way from what I remember it to be as a kid when my mom would take me to eat there when she used to work for Rustans. Maybe I should have tried the merienda menu to go down memory lane but I was really curious to try the Pinakbet Rice for lunch. Which was pretty good but not overly wow. The bagnet on top was a a bit too hard. The binukadkad na tilapia was very good, though I wish we had more buro to go with it (but then I do love my buro). The calamares was standard and good. The prices are now higher than what is published here, if I recall everything we ordered was around 800 or so. Service was very fast and polite.

Food - 3 (taste of the food is not that consistent. I usually come here for their arroz caldo and palitaw but lately both taste different than before. Manunuod kami dapat ni Maboo ng Dumbo🐘. Sobrang ganda ng acting namin dun, sold out yung tickets!☹️Nag-Shazam nalang kami at napaka-boring!Last Wednesday lang yun at alam naming mahirap makauwi so nagpalipas muna kami. I remember ‘di ako nasarapan sa food before atsaka NAPAKATAGAL MAGLUTO dito. Pero Maboo said bigyan daw ng 2nd chance at pagod na siya maglalalakad! Ayun, ang tagal parin ng serving time.. Mali pa yung sinerve samin nung una. Anyway, Lenten Special Set A order ko- malasa naman ang boneless bangus. The fresh lumpia okay din kahit ma-cornstarch ang sauce. At brown rice sila dito, in fairness! Yun pala ang nagpamahal. Haha! Dessert:1. Levee flan - 3/5Drink:2. House ice tea - 4/51. The flans texture was nice and smoothly. Very custardy. Knew they used egg white because of the bubbles that the flan had. But pretty much s good old flan.2. Tea was my favorite. Tea flavor came through well. You could tel they used tea bags or leaves to make it. Flavors drastically different.

Benny's is a gem. We've dined quite frequently since the first time. Their dishes are a bang for the buck. The flavors were also spot on. I will take this place over any fancy restaurant any day. :)

Who would have known that there is a restaurant inside Rustan's Supermarket? Well, Benny's is there. It's an open resto so shoppers doing their groceries pass by a lot but you wouldn't really notice them because your focus will be on the food served to you.This place is perfect for group dates because their dishes are good for sharing and tastes superb! I wasn't able to take a photo of everything that we ordered but it felt like we were in a feast, indulging our palates with various delectable dishes.

The fact that they only serve breakfast until 11am did not make sense to me since they are right across the grocery. Ordered tocino.Not happy about this because the pork was chewy and bland. For 295php, it's not worth it. The service is ok but took a while to get the bill.

Denny's Rustan's1. Paco salad- 3 stars. Wish there were more salted eggs. Just a bit more..2. Beef salpicao- 3.5 stars. Beef was tender and soft but better if it was not in strips3. Chicharon- delectable! Freshly fried and the vinegar comoleted it!4. Laing- a bit salty...
