I never actually expect to have to enjoy wine here last night but I loved our Fragantia N6 for Php 990 order and took note of all the drinks we could order for next time. (Rosé and Moscato based drinks) We had their Paella Negra for Php 600 which could be for 4 people but, it only had 5 soft squid rings so to think about it, it felt that they are scarce on squid. We also had Coca de Sardinas for appetizer. It is actually great but I think, I needed something with cheese which we will order on our next visit. Their appetizer, which they give as complimentary, oil, bread and tomatoes with a side of salt shaker to taste is amazing. It’s something I could come back for as well because I love the bread that they used. Crunchy and chewy at the same time. Even if we wanted more alcohol and ordered Verde Gin Tonica, it’s basic but it’s not something I will order again. I would probably order a sangria and avail 2+2 on drinks. But great experience.. The Verde Gin was refreshing. Though had a bitter after-taste.

Barcino has always been my default whenever I crave for good tasting spanish food. Can’t count the number of times I’ve been here, with family, with friends & with colleagues. I would always have jamon serrano for my appetizer & never fails to have paella to go with chorizo & callos. Do I need to say I’ll go back for the nth time? 😀😀😀 Sorry, forgot to take photos of paella, but believe me, it’s worth waiting for 20min for it to be served!

Not sure what happened here but the paella negra was blah. The manchego cheese was lovely with a nice creamy flavor. The wine was ok since got wine by the glass. The clams were slightly rubbery so you know they aren’t fresh. I really wanted to give this place another chance but they are in for some competition here in the Greenbelt area. I should’ve have opted for Tapella instead.
