Had walked by Banana Leaf earlier and made the mental note to come back. Went searching for Banana Leaf the very next day, but forgot the title. Ended up on the 3rd floor at another cafe, then discovered Banana Leaf on the come back. Took a pictureof the exterior so I wouldn't normally forget. On our come back the very next day, went right to Banana Leaf. Had been seated by the gracious Supervisor. Ordered the Heavy Fried Basil Tofu and the Crunchy Lovely Kangkong, that i had eyed on the menu the 1st time I noticed Banana Leaf. It had been absolutely tasty and for this type of great price! Returning to Banana Leaf has been therefore worth the search!

The Banana Leaf is merely the area to go if one misses Singaporean / Malaysian food in GreenBelt, Makati. Though much less authentic as I want it to be, it comes close to what you may expect in Singapore or Malaysia. Something will be alwaysbetter than nothing I usually say ! Try out their Roti Canai with curry, Penang fried Kway Teow, Hainanese Poultry Rice and Okra Salad.

When you have way too many options, it is all set back again to basic. Home design, asian treats. At the very least, we're able to gauge if the typical is same or definately not home flavor. I would suggest Banana Leaf. Felt house whenever we orderour dinner.

Strolling previous and enticed in simply by the manager and all of us weren’t disappointed, we'd an array of their dishes upon the banana leaf and the satays had been the best we’ve got and we’ve acquired lots from around Asia. Congratulations an excellent affordable meal, served by joyful and helpful staff.

Have frequented over a long time rather than been disappointed till now. The meats in the rendang had been dubious, the kankung has been over seasoned and the Kway teow had been overcooked right into a mushy submission. The only real noticeable crunch emerged not really from the beansprouts but what Ihoped has been fried garlic flakes. But simply because my wife discerned it had been eggshell and of a volume no self respecting chef may have overlooked. My partner discreetly introduced this to a waitress’ interest and when she did move the word it evidently didn’t spark the curiosity of the duty supervisor who didn’t appear overly tasked. The roti with curry sauce had been as good as actually but won’t be worthy of a come back visit. Sayang once we say over here.

We asked for roti canai, curry sauce and spicy malaysian sambal sauce. Then, the supervisor (a queer looking man) asked us why perform we are in need of sambal sauce.. Apparently no-one has ordered it this way before in accordance with him. Dude we resided in KL fora while, we realize our stuff. In addition to the staff here's kindda racist towards Indians, Bangladeshi people.

Gone to this resto many times already but, even now ate here again. We'd their Hainanese Chicken dinner, Penang Char Noodles, Crispy kangkong, and Roti with curry dip.

It’s in the Environment friendly Belt shopping mall, with external entrance at the top flooring. The eating place itself is clear and comfortable. The menus has a significant amount of Malaysian/Singaporean/Indonesian meals. What I had has been nice, better than nearly all Malay food in america, but stillshort of the real thing. Of you’re sick and tired of Adobo and want something regional, this is pretty good.

I saw the cafe at the mall many times also it looked interesting because the plates were banana leafs. I finally stopped also it was amazing. I purchase the mussels with singapore sauce and an eating plan coke. The employees was great and assisted me manytimes to determine how the dinner ought to be eaten. They presented a very huge dish of mussels. It smelled so excellent and tasted better still. The meal cost a lower amount than 400 pesos (8 US bucks). I was so complete and so happy following the food. I made chaos with the mussels looking to get every little bit of the fantastic taste. I'll stop there once again on my next stop by at Makati. Many thanks to the supervisor and the server. These were so beneficial to this American who's learning the lifestyle. Salamat to the personnel.

Enjoyed the meal on the Banana Leaf. Malayan poultry curry with rice and BBQ roasted infant dark ribs. Delicious. Great ambience and friendly personnel. Must visit. Nice place. Lots of doing your research and parking.
